Ace Concrete

David did a super job. David was punctual and kept the timing exactly as he projected. I liked that he does the work himself.

First we called three other companies who had been recommended by friends. We had a great deal of difficulty getting return calls so we decided to check Angie's List. Based on the recommendations we called David on Dec. 30th. He came to our house in 45 minutes to estimate the job. We hired him on the spot and he said he would try to get it done the next day (which was New Years Eve) if he could get some help. He called us back that evening to say he would be there at 7:15 am the next morning. He and a helper were there as promised. They framed the entire walk that morning and, by mid-day, the concrete truck arrived. By the end of the day we had our walk, all this on New Years Eve!! The walk looks great and, the responsiveness was very impressive. Cost was in line with others.

David came the day I called, gave an estimate and promptly showed up when he said he would; actually he was early! He was very easy to work with and when it came to something he was unsure about, he immediately asked what I would prefer. He was very flexible. He ended up doing a lot of additional digging and grading that was not anticipated but all within the quoted price. My neighbor also hired him while he was working on my pad and patio. David made a concrete walkway for them and they are also happy with the results.I would not hesitate to hire David for any additional concrete work.

Great experience, called David on Thursday and he came out that day and gave estimate. Began work on Friday, had rain on Saturday and concrete was poured on Monday. Had concerns about water flow downhill onto the driveway/patio but David sloped the concrete using laser transom so that the water flowed properly away from structure. Enjoying the new driveway and patio. Would recommend Ace Concrete to family and friends.

Very well. They actually came to the house about 20 minutes after we initially called, to give us an estimate. It was a good estimate, so we agreed to have them come back the following Monday. They arrived right at 8 a.m., and finished when they said they would. We were very satisfied with all aspects of the project.

Very good job. Had to do two combination slopes but with his laser tool slopes came out fine. Excellent job with no complaints. Would definitely recommend.

He did all work requested in a very timely fashion. His price was also very competitive. He completed the project in the exact time that we were told and there were no additional costs/charges. All the concrete looks wonderful and was finished very well. David takes pride in his work.

When I called David he immediately said he would go to my house and check out the job (I was at work and could not be there). He promptly called me back with a price and said he could start in a couple of days. David was true to his word. He came back one day and dug out the back and the next day he poured the concrete. He even removed stones I had in certain areas. It looks great. My neighbor was so impressed he had him do his the same week. Great job and great customer service.

Came out for an estimate immediately, flexible with start date, kept me informed as to timing of project, showed up on time, and completed work on time.

He was on time and punctual. He worked like a mad man and I am entirely pleased with my new driveway.

This was a great experience. We just built a house and this seemed to be the only one of a million projects that was done completely to our expectations and easily. David gave us an estimate for widening the driveway to fit two cars side by side. When we decided to go ahead, David did the job right away (within a couple of days), which was very impressive. The concrete looks great, the driveway is straight as requested, all aspects of this job were done professionally and very well. David is a stand-up guy who also recommended a good brick person to build the step from the driveway to the front porch. That person also did the work right away and well. Overall, a great experience.

I cannot have the work done at this time due to the cost. David was so very responsive. He returned my call right away and went to do the estimate that very day and called me. That is great service that you don't get these days.

David came out the same day, gave me an estimate and said they could start the next day and could be finished in 3 days and they were. He explained everything they would do and why they were doing it. They did it very efficiently and professionally. I would recommend them.

David responded promptly to my request for an estimate. His price was very realistic and he did honor the senior discount. He established a time table of approximately a week to 10 days to complete the project. He always arrived promptly and ready to begin work. He had two helpers to wheelbarrow the cement to the back section. He completed the project in less than 10 days. I am very pleased with his promptness, attention to detail, and meeting the time table.

I selected Ace Concrete after meeting several others I also found here on Angie's List. He offered the best product for the money, and from the moment I met him he has been right there to answer questions, follow up, and talk to me about the process. I cannot say enough about the quality of the individual, as well as the service. The price was hardly an issue, I found that his product was the strongest concrete for the money... well worth every penny.

We called and they were onsite within a day or two. Breaking up and removal of the old concrete went fine. They cut and dug up the root that cause the concrete to crack. They poured the concrete and staked off the driveway to prevent anyone from driving on it and left us clear instructions on when we could use the driveway. I only have a few complaints: 1) The used our hose to get the water they needed for the concrete and broke the sprayer and never bothered to let me know. It wasn't until a few days later that I found the broken pieces and called David. To his credit he replaced the sprayer with a new one but I feel that he should have told me about this before I found it. He said he didn't know that it broke. 2) David seemed much more interested at times in making sure he'd get paid than doing the job. Repeated calls about him needing checks. We wrote three checks to three different groups - a bit odd. 3) Messy. Bits of concrete and tire tracks in the yard.

The work went very well he was on time to begin and finished on time. He was a perfect gentlemen, professional. Cleaned up after the work.

Called and set up date, on time, had to take 3 days, one to remove old walk ways and form for new, second day pored all four, fourth day removed forms.

Overall he did what he said he would do when he said he would it.

David was terrific. He was on time for the estimate, reasonably priced, and performed the driveway extension as promised the very next day! Very highly recommend him!

David was always very punctual and did all of the preliminary work himself over 2 afternoons. He supervised and worked on pouring the concrete. He was very knowledgeable and courteous. He did a FANTASTIC job. I'd highly recommend him to anyone desiring an excellent concrete job.

Ace was terrific. They came out to assess what I needed within 45 minutes of my call. They poured the driveway on Monday within 4-5 hours. They started Monday morning at 7:30 a.m. and finished about noon. They went the extra step to help me resolve issues with a previous contractor who was trying to intimidate and bully me. David Stallings was great! He gave me advice and tips, and also recommended someone who could repair the brick mailbox another contractor damaged.

David was very prompt and forthright. He followed through on every promise he made and cleaned up after the job was over.

David removed a damaged section of driveway, leveled the ground underneath and poured a new section. Did a very good job at a price significantly less than two other estimates from Angie's List companies.
