Ace Concrete

David came to see us at a time that was convenient for us, measured up the job and explained the process to us. David is very knowledgable and personable, and his quote was very reasonable for the square footage we wanted replacing (around 1000sq ft). Half the cost was for the concrete itself - for which David asked for a check when he was ready to order it from the plant - and the remainder of the payment was paid on completion. New concrete looks great, all edges straight and drainage is excellent. Would definitely use again and recommend to others.

They installed an excellent driveway, using heavier duty concrete than had been previously used. This was higher quality than other estimates we received had specified. They were thorough and removed all roots that would have been a problem if left in place. We live on a narrow street but they tried to minimize any inconvenience to our neighbors. We are very happy with our new driveway and everyone who walks by says they are now jealous!

Excellent from beginning to end. I originally called David because we had some cracked concrete at the edge of our driveway and some plantings alongside the house caused by water runoff from the gutters . He came out shortly after I called, looked at the problem and gave me a choice of solutions to fix it. I had always wanted to widen that section of driveway (which was actually the best solution to the original problem). We were going to be out of town that following week, but David agreed to get the job done while we were gone as long as I arranged payment for the concrete up front; he was willing to wait until we returned for his money. We came home to a new driveway and couldn't be more pleased with the service we received.

David was helpful in coordinating his work with the rest of the project. He showed up when he promised and worked quickly to beat the approaching rain. The quality of concrete finishing was excellent. Cleanup was thorough. I highly recommend him.

Made appointment for quotation on day he was contacted and performed the work on the day after he was notofied to begin. Mr. Stallings was prompt, efficient, and courteous. The excavation/concrete work was of high quality. The minor caulking job was not good and will require some additional work which I will complete.

Dave was prompt in returning my initial phone call. Gave a free estimate and then accommodated our schedule for the repair. He removed all the old concrete one afternoon and the problem tree roots and poured the concrete the next day. He hand carried the concrete from the street and cleaned up completely after he was finished. He and his son were both extremely polite and the job was completed as stated, at the price quoted and on time.

Two sections of the driveway were badly cracked and required replacement. Reviewed Angies List of companies that do concrete work. Called David Stallings and made appointment for him to give estimate for replacing concrete. He arrived on time, explained what had to be done, and provided written list with cost including concrete to be provided by COD Concrete. As agreed, he and his crew arrived as scheduled and completed removal of cracked sections and replacement with new concrete. The work was done as specified and on a timely basis. We would use David again if we need to have other concrete work done.

David took out one quarter of the driveway and re-poured the section. He also stabilized the adjoining garage floor. He arrived 30 minutes after I called him and gave me an estimate. He started that same day and removed the section. The next day he poured the concrete section. Less than 24 hours from start to finish. He was very professional and courteous.

David was a pleasure to work with-prompt, professional, very patient with my questions and offered good suggestions.

I called David on Monday around Noon. We discussed the project and he drove out to take a look at the job. The old concrete was in horrible shape. David returned my call after looking at the project and gave me several choices as to how to correct the issue. I decided to replace only the part of the driveway that was damaged. We discussed the costs for each option and if there would be any additional cost for anything unexpected, like wire re-enforcement in the the old concrete. The wire in the old concrete costs more in labor to remove and the disposal is a bit more expensive. We agreed on the price and David returned that afternoon to start the job. There was wire in the old concrete and it took most of Tuesday to break it up, remove the old concrete and set up the forms for the pour on Wednesday. On Wednesday the pour went very well and by afternoon the driveway was repaired. Because we are going to be selling the house, David took a bit more time to add a nice geometric design to the new concrete. The whole job looks great and the neighbors really liked the design.

Mr. Stallings was prompt to return my initial phone call and then set up a meeting to see what I needed to have replaced. His quote was lower than most and we scheduled the work to begin in about 10 days. Mr. Stallings showed up on schedule and finished the job in 3 days. I was very pleased with the results and I would not hesitate to use him again.

Overall, the experience and quality of work was excellent. David arrived on time for an estimate, was prompt in providing one in writing, and started the job on time. Completion was timely with everything finished on time at the cost on the estimate.
