Ace Concrete

David drove from 25 minutes away at 7:00 pm to give me an estimate. He said he would be glad to do the owrk, but was honest enough to tell me that it was a repair that I could do myself. He spent 20-30 minutes explaining what I needed to do and what products I should use. I really appreciate his honesty, and will use him in the future if I ever have a more difficult repair.

Estimated the job with no issues, performed the work on time and as expected. Rain delayed the start of the project but he kept us informed of his schedule to make sure the delay would not hamper us and then prerformed the work in a very professional manner.

Received a free estimate from David the owner for a 14 X 21 extension on driveway. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Took us a month to get cable, sprinklers and fence moved. When I called to schedule the concrete he remembered who we were and promptly told us all the recent rains had him behind schedule and he would work us in. A week later he called us with a date and of course that day also rained. But he was there the next morning at 7am and had to driveway finished my noon. Did a great job and did everything he quoted us for with no hidden surprises. Looks great Excellent communication and workmanship. Would use him again for any concrete needs. Great to see a business owner who cares about the customer and follows thru will what was promised.

First contact was about 8:30 on a Sat. morning. I called to ask for an estimate. At 1PM the same day, David Stallings (owner ) met me and gave me an estimate of 2450. On Sunday afternoon David called and said a spot had opened on his calendar for a one day project. I gave the go ahead and David and his crew were on site and working at 7:30 Mon. morning. The entire project was complete by 3PM. The project included several hours of jack-hammer work to remove a granite curb, and Bobcat work to prepare for the pour. Concrete was delivered, poured and finished. Everything looks great - including the clean up work.

David was prompt and responsive from the first contact. He explains in detail what needs to be done and why. He began exactly on the date and time scheduled and kept me informed throughout the process. He is diligent and takes pride in his work. I would highly recommend him.

David Stallings was very informative regarding the job that I needed to have done. He was very punctual and made sure I understood how Important it was to keep the concrete watered until it cured. He did a wonderful job and cleaned up after the job was complete. Came back later that day and watered the concrete himself and followed up with me again on how important it was to continue the watering process. I would use him in the future and tell all my friends on how good a job he did and recommend him to anyone. Excellent Job and very amicable person.

He showed up on time and was done in only a matter of hours! Very professionall and cleaned up after themselves! Very pleased with our patio now! He was able to squeeze us in last minute which we greatly appreciated. Would use him again for any other concrete needs!!

Done remotely. I picked him from Angies list and called him and he went to see the driveway and gave me an pretty reasonable estimate. 2 weeks later he called me and started the job. It took him half a day and the tenant told me the job is beautifully done , every neighbor admires the driveway now. So I donot need to drive there to see it myself.

David and his crew were great! They worked long hours and gave great attention to details. We had a big job and they finished it within a week including a short delay for rain. David gave us suggestions for controlling erosion and added extra concrete where we needed it for support over a ditch. We were pleasantly surprised by his low estimate when he first came to see our job. He charged exactly what he said in the estimate and there were no hidden costs. (Concrete costs are paid directly to the concrete company and David told us that at the time of giving us the estimate.) We would definitely recommend his work.

David was very personable on the phone and asked a number of appropriate questions in order to get a good idea of what the job would entail. His estimate was very reasonable and the work was completed at slightly below the estimate less 10% senior citizen discount on the labor, despite an unforseen problem which required extra effort. He also threw in a separate square of concrete to put our big hose caddy on at no additional cost. He came right on schedule and did an excellent job. We would highly recommend him. Ken Alterman Ft. I called David at Ace Concrete to get a price for pouring a concrete patio to replace a old wooden deck that I wanted to remove. To my surprise Dave came out that afternoon to give me a quote. We were very pleased with the price and David's knowledge and easy going nature. The best part is David does the work himself, he doesn't drop a crew off in the morning and leave only to come back later to pick up a check!! The day of the install David showed up bright and early just like he said. I asked if we could change the size of the pad from what he quoted and since we were working directly with David that was no problem at all. The finished product looks GREAT! We couldn't be happier and would highly recommend Ace Concrete!

David and his team arrived as scheduled. They installed a 12x22 concret patio with stamped concret. They did an excellent job and kept us up to day over the two days on what they would be doing and what to expect. They double checked we liked everything all along the process and we couldn't have been happier. Our patio looks amazing and they really did a nice job to make sure they sealed it and made it look great. Thank you again for all the hard work and honest work! David responded promptly to my call and provided me an on-site bid. Once accepted, David told me when he would start. Work started on day promised. David and crew arrived early and worked late each day. Finished product is great.

I contacted David at Ace Concrete to describe my problem with my walkway. He was able to give me an estimate over the phone based on specific questions, but also came out to my home to evaluate the job at my request. He explained the estimate and reason for specific costs for materials and labor. He was able to shedule the work for the next day. David and another worker came out as scheduled and removed the damaged sidewalk, cut some very large roots that caused the damage, and repoured the walkway. They did a great job removing the concrete without damaging adjacent concrete, plants/beds. The finished product and cleanup were very satisfactory. He gave me detailed instructions on how to protect the concrete and do's and don'ts as it cured. Both men were pleasant, professional and I would definitely recommend Ace Concrete and David for concrete work.

David was prompt, provided an estimate over the phone and then delivered the service in the time promised. He added some scope at my option for a very reasonable price. Would definitely recommend them.

He came on Friday to quote the job. He came that Saturday to perform the job. He was very responsive and punctual. Performed job as described and at price quoted. Would definitely use again.

Ace Concrete did an amazing and professional job with our backyard disaster. In one day they removed all the old slate/rock and poured a beautiful new patio with step. We are very happy with the way it looks!

He came out the same day and very knowledgeable.

David was great to work with. Showed up when he said he would and really took his time making sure things were right. David even went so far as to help me install a few drains under my driveway the day before the pour was scheduled. I very highly recommend him as the service was great.

Rarely can I say a job went perfectly, but this one did. David is one of those all too rare tradespeople who actually cares about his customers and his reputation. I wouldn't hesitate for a moment to recommend him, and he will, henceforth and forevermore, be my concrete go to guy. Absolutely top notch.

I called David Stallings of Ace Concrete on a Saturday and was surprised to get an answer. He was on the other side of town, but offered to come by a few hours later on Saturday afternoon to give me an estimate for removal and replacement of my driveway and front walkway. The estimate was quick and very reasonable (we had other estimates for comparison). In the end, it wasn't just price though; Ace Concrete had an 'A' rating on Angie's List, and a lot of people in our area had used him and rated him highly. He also detected a gas leak on the side of my house near the gas meter that he said should be fixed immediately. Sure enough, within an hour the gas company came out, found a leak on the meter, and fixed it. We approved his bid that night. As for scheduling the work, David explained that it could be 3 weeks before they would get to us, which was fine. Rain was certainly a factor, and we were okay with the lead time. As it turned out, we didn't have to wait. David worked us into the schedule within a few days when rain impacted another site. He had explained that the job would take 2 days -- 1 day for removal of the existing driveway and setting up the forms, and the 2nd day for pouring and finishing the concrete. The job was performed exactly as he described. The new driveway and walkway looks fantastic. The job was done faster than we expected, and David managed it flawlessly, doing the excavation and form setting work himself. I would recommend Ace Concrete to my friends, and I would definitely consider using them again.

Bottom-line. if you need concrete work done at a reasonable cost, on time, with someone that will work with you on simple alterations after the quote call ACE concrete.. He does the work himself
