Ace Concrete

I had my driveway enlarged for an additional vehicle and he poured a pad for future carport, he performance the job as stated in the estimate, he remove the extra soil and filled in hole in the yard. He cleaned up extra debris; overall he did an excellence job.

Even though the work was done at the busiest time of year, David responded to my call quickly and provided a quote same day. My new driveway and sidewalk are great. I recommend this company and I intend to use them again.

Some time ago, I received a warning ticket from a Code Enforcement Officer informing me that the City did not approve my parking a second vehicle on grass alongside my regular driveway. After parking on the street these past several months I decided I absolutely needed to have a wide section added as soon as possible. I consulted Angie's List and selected two companies for bids: Dan the Man and Ace Concrete. I chose these based on the number of reviews people had taken the time to write-not necessarily and quot;how many 'A'sand quot; but overall Angie's List numbers of clients. Gentlemen representing both companies were at my property within hours of my contacting them. I will not share prices with the reader since a choice like this depends more on intuition and one's budget and personal feelings regarding the choice than strictly the bid price. I chose Ace Concrete for the job- I did not intend a full and quot;street to topand quot; widening just a cutout wide enough to park a second vehicle to get the City off my back. Mr Stallings and his crew were available and at my home two days after we agreed on a price. I could not be happier with the professionalism and efficiency with which they completed the form work. the concrete pour and the instructions to follow to allow the concrete to set up properly when they departed. My wife, however, saw the completed project and decided we needed to add an additional section to and quot;sguare upand quot; the entire driveway and extend what I had asked them to do-she has decided we need still more room to park- so in a few months when the family balance sheet quiets down I will be contacting Mr Stallings to stop by and consider squaring up the dimensions to what we had started.

Everything went great. David came out and gave me a quote. He started the work the day he said he would, we had a little delay because of the weather, but he was back on the job as soon as the driveway dried some and he was able to continue. David and his crew went above and beyond. I felt very good in my decision to hire Ace Concrete. I read so many good reviews on Angie's List, and pretty much knew from the ( Get Go ) that Ace Concrete would be the one I would go with. David is very professional and takes great pride in his work. He also did a little extra without charging me. I think anyone who chooses to hire Ace Concrete cannot go wrong. Also I don't want to forget the gentlemen that work for David, they were great. They say it's best to try and get a few different quotes. and I did try to get someone else to give me a quote, but they never showed.

David Stallings was great to work with. He was professional, prompt and courteous every step of the way. I would definitely use his services again.

I called David and set up an appointment for the afternoon for a quote. He called when he was on his way. He was dressed professionally and after dispensing with introductions we got down to business. We discussed in detail the work I would like performed. He measured the areas and came up with a total price. It was a very easy process. What I liked about David is that I could tell he knows what he is doing and made several recommendations on the work that I had missed and offered to do a little extra with out charging me extra. That would be to install to cross drain pipes due to the location of roof drains etc. He also provided a copy of his Insurance (on good paper) for the HOA when I submit the drawing for approval. At this time we have not scheduled the work, however when my better half allows me, I will be giving him the call to perform the work. I highly recommend Mr. Stallings.

I had a driveway that evidently had not been installed properly to begin with so that after a number of years, it was badly cracked and sunken. David came out to assess it and give me an estimate. He explained everything he would do to make sure the water would run off the right way (it was pouring rain the day he came out) and that there would be sufficient expansion joints to prevent future cracking. I also liked that when he saw I used a cane to walk, he told me he offered a discount to seniors and disabled individuals. His price was very reasonable compared to another estimate. David went beyond my expectations, and I was pleased with the end result.

Everything went perfect. David is extremely knowledgable and skilled; the drainage problems were fixed completely and David even did a few fixes on our garage floor at no cost. He is a perfectionist which is what you need in a contractor. I highly recommend David - his price and quality could not be beat.

David was very punctual and you could tell that he took great pride in his work.

I just called them from Angie's List and they completed their work maybe a week and a half ago. I would use them and also recommend them. There's this 3 guys and if you look at the Angie's List, they speak highly about them.

David communicated well concerning weather and other delays, and answered all applicable questions in a timely manner. Job was done quickly and professionally, with David himself doing most of the tear-out and finishing work. Very pleased with his price and the quality of the work. Would definitely recommend.

David Stallings did an excellent job for us! He arrived at my door 45 minutes after my initial call for an estimate. Because this job was weather sensitive, he was excellent at contacting us to update any changes or expectations when he would be able to complete the work. He went above and beyond to provide an excellent finished product. Again, EXCELLENT communication throughout the process. Very professional. Would highly recommend this company.

Dave was very busy when I called but came by late on a Friday night to give me a quote on a sizable concrete slab job. He explained what needed to be done to grade and prepare the site (I had gravel at there that had to be removed), particularly the levelling of the concrete to address water pooling by my garage and destroying the wooden trim. We agreed to a price and the date was left open so he could work me in between large jobs (the Summer of 2013 also was very wet which delayed completion). A two day window opened up early one week in August and Dave came by on a Sunday to do the site prep. The concrete was poured on Monday and shaping/smoothing was finished by Tuesday. Now when it rains, the water is directed away from my garage keeping the garage door frame dry even when it pours.

David knows his business and has a great team! As soon as I read reviews on Angie's I knew I was in good hands. He came out that day after we talked, turned out we were within close proximity. We discussed my options from small job to full driveway replacement. All of the quotes were reasonable for the scale of work based on concrete and labor. I messed up on scheduling, David was patient and always returned my calls. I would highly recommend to anyone after this winter don't wait to repair/replace your driveway call Ace and leave it to David Stallings!

It went very, very well. Mr. Stallings responded to my initial inquiry promptly, he came to our house soon thereafter and was able to give us an estimate for the work very quickly. He was also able to arrange to do the work in a timely fashion and told us when his crew would arrive, how long it would take them, and how long our driveway would be out of service. The work went exactly as he described, and we were very satisfied with the result. He and his crew were very professional, and the driveway looks great. My next door neighbor who is familiar with construction was very impressed and said few crews warn residents to stay off the driveway as long as Mr. Stallings asked us to keep it out of service. That longer time is needed for the concrete to properly cure.

The communication was excellent. There was a lot of rain during the time, David was really good about calling and emailing regarding scheduling and keeping me informed. Due to the rain it took 8-10 days to complete the work. David and two other workers were the ones completing the service.

All went better than expected. I was told by another concrete company (a friend of a friend) to look on Angie's list as they were about 8 weeks out to do our job. The friend also quoted me about $1500 - $2000 for what I thought was going to be only 300 sf of concrete. When the measurements came back at 1032 sf I thought I was about to break the bank. David came in at $4100 and the level of service and quality of workmanship was incredible. He took extra care in ways I thought were long gone from contractors these days. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for his services.

I found David's company on Angie's list and very excited about all his great reviews. I called for an estimate and he was here within 1 hour. He was very knowledgeable and helpful in giving me all the necessary paperwork to give to homeowner's association for approval to install ramp. I decided he wss the person I wanted to work with. Later that evening he called me and told me he wanted to discount the price since the ramp was needed for my 90 year old mother. As soon as the board approved, I called him and told him I was ready to have the ramp installed. He worked this job in a week earlier than expected. David and his team, Matt and Glenn were prepared to get the job completed as stated. The ramp was completed in no time. This team of workers did an excellent job and were quick to clean up as promised. I would definitely rehire them for concrete work again. Thanks David, Matt and Glenn for a job well done. You have made my mom very happy and made my life so much easier.

David Stallings, owner of Ace Concrete, did most of the work himself and was on site during the entire job. We found David to be very personable, very punctual, and easy to work with. He came to our home, gave us a quote and scheduled the job to be done. When the weather did not cooperate, he communicated with us the day before it rained and rescheduled the job for another day. He kept us and quot;in the loopand quot; during the entire process, and we appreciate that. Our driveway looks great and it's wonderful to have a nice looking driveway again after many years of having and and quot;eye soreand quot;. We found David to be reasonable in his price; he cleaned up after the work was completed, and we are very happy with the end result. We would definitely use David's services again and would recommend him to others. One note: David requested that we pay the concrete company directly, so we actually wrote two checks for the entire job. COD Concrete, Inc. provided the concrete, and we paid them directly. Bottom line: David did what he said he would do, kept us in the loop, and did a great job!

Ace Concrete - David Stalling was the best. Worked around my schedule and the crazy weather. The price was very competitive. The workmanship was great. Would highly recommend him for any future needs!

Dave showed up very quick to provide estimate. We had a very wet summer and no real opportunity to schedule the job. Dave is very honest and concerned about the quality and waited until the conditions were right. Showed up on time, completed work as scheduled and within estimated cost. Would definitely use Dave again or concrete work. Work included several hrs of bobcat work and light tree root removal.

This was a big job for a homeowner. Dave was great. He came over, gave us a good bid and a good sense of when he could sdo the work. They showed up and worked long and hard. Dave was on site the whole time. It came out great.

The project went very well. David did a great job with the drive way. He arrived for work at the time promised and kept us informed of his progress throughout. He was very clear on what we needed to do after he was done to ensure the concrete set properly. We would be happy to use him again for future concrete projects.

David Stallings was very easy to do business with. I called to get an estimate to replace my driveway. He was able to come by within 3 days and left an estimate in my mailbox. I called and we were able to schedule my replacement within 3-4 weeks. He told me exactly how the project would unfold and it happened just as he laid it out. Very happy with the overall experience and would recommend highly.

David Stallings/Ace Concrete is awesome. We just needed a small 21x13 extension to our existing patio on new construction. All the rain and bad weather had set him back a great deal for his larger jobs, but he was able to fit us in between the raindrops. Not only was the work done on time, neatly and professionally, David also went out of his way to call me the next morning to remind me to re-direct the existing downspout away from the newly-poured concrete because rain was coming. :) He also gave me a great recommendation of a product to apply in a couple of months that would seal the new concrete and suggested a color to mix with it so the new concrete would match the existing more closely. The workmanship was terrific as were his employees/subcontractors. The little Bobcat didn't do any damage to our lawn and the job was quickly and surprisingly quietly! I can't recommend him highly enough! Thank you, David!
