We provide custom remodeling especially interior renovations and larger projects, like additions, porches or kitchens, often include multi-trades (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, roofing, etc,) which we schedule and coordinate project management of the complete process. We have a professional team of craftsman and been working in the Charlotte Metro area for over 40 years (since 1979).
"Terrible to work with.Took much longer to build than was quoted. Concrete inspection failed twice. As a result the floor is not level and is out of square. Framing inspection failed. To save costs, we said we would stain the wood. We thought all of the wood was provided which we stained. Then more wood was brought in which they installed without first letting us stain it. We had to stain the main beam once it was installed because of their poor communication. Framers removed the attaching house roof & left it uncovered. It rained that night and we had rain in our kitchen and living room. Ceiling & walls had to be redone. Painter they hired was a poor communicator. Never came when he said he would. When he did come, he managed to paint our kitchen curtains and painted shut one of the ceiling kitchen vents. Left his equipment for days in our porch area, kept saying he would be by to pick it up. The only time Fred came by was to pick up payments, never checked the quality of work done by his employees. We could go on, but there was not much good to report about this contractor. Stay away from!"

"We contracted with Ed Griffith and his Cabinet Guys to remodel our kitchen in Dec 2019 - Jan 2020. The process and results were outstanding! While researching various contractors / remodelers, we wondered if Ed and his team could be as good as his 5-star reviews, but we were very impressed from our first meeting. Ed's craftmanship and precision were evident throughout the remodel. In the beginning, he explained that his team hand makes the cabinets for our desired kitchen footprint, guides us to choose the cabinet door design, tells us various places to shop for stone ( we chose quartz) for the countertop & island, and places to shop for backsplash tile. From looking at HGTV shows, we expected "demo day" to be a dusty, loud, and messy experience, but there was no mess at all. Ed and his team carefully dismantled the cabinets so that they could be donated to a charity. After every day of the process, Ed or his tradesmen cleaned up the kitchen area and the garage area (the staging area). It was particularly dusty when the stone was cut onsite for the kitchen sink and stovetop, but his workmen not only vacuumed the floors, they wiped the kitchen floor with cloths. Every tradesman (electricians, plumbers, stone workers, etc.) was excellent, and all of them had high praise for Ed. There were a few "surprises" (such as our walls and bar wall aren't perfectly straight), but Ed always knew how to handle the situation. We liked the fact that he was always calm and knowledgeable on every subject. In conclusion, the results were better than we expected. For example, we didn't expect that the inside of each cabinet door had a similar design to what was on the front side. We also didn't expect that the sides of the island and the bar wall would have a nice design. We also didn't expect that Ed and his team would vacuum and wipe out every drawer to minimize our cleanup effort. We had a flood originating from an upstairs bathroom sink and had damage to two floors of the home. Upstairs and downstairs. All the carpet had to be removed, ducts to be insulated and wrapped, drywall needing repair, and an entire hall bathroom retire after pulling out the cabinet that was damaged.
