Dryer Vent Wizard

Very well, the vent has a long run from upstairs dryer to a vent outlet downstairs. Thorough job, very prompt and professional.

Great- Not only was Dan extremely punctual, knowledgeable, and efficient, but he bent over backwards to come earlier for me when I found out that I had to leave earlier than expected to get one of my children. Dan explained everything perfectly, and it was great being able to work with him.

This is regarding Dryer Vent Wizard. I reached call center personnel for Dryer Vent Wizard on Sunday 10/28/17 after having my dryer serviced by a very efficient and professional repairman who suggested that I probably needed to have my dryer vent cleaned out as well. He kindly showed me where the vent was on the side of my home as well. When I called Dryer Vent Wizard the phone operator in Michigan (I believe) stated that 'Saturdays were booked for a year'; this sounded odd and I asked for a manager. Manager Delores apologized and said actually the company did not operate on Saturdays. This made more sense. Delores offered a call back from the owner, Dave Lavelle, re: options. Mr. Lavelle called shortly thereafter and said he would call me re: any last-minute late afternoon/evening openings in his schedule. I let him know I could be home @ 4:30 on short notice any day. Meantime, we agreed I would keep an appointment for my day off on 11/10/17. This morning (11/1/17), a phone operator with Dryer Vent Wizard called me regarding an opening at 11:00 a.m.. I had left a meeting for the call and when the operator mentioned another morning appointment, I let her know that the Call Center had already offered multiple day appointments; that the record was supposed to reflect that early appointments were not an option; and that the owner Dave Lavelle had offered to call last minute with such an opening. The operator said she would make another note in the file. On my way home from work this afternoon I received a call from owner Dave Lavelle who stated that he was calling to cancel my appointment on 11/10/17. I asked for an explanation. He said that he would not give an explanation; he said he did not 'want to hurt my feelings' (?) He went on to say, 'This is where you don't want to do business with me; you tell me about how you are going to call the Better Business Bureau; and you hang up.' He actually hung up. The conversation was bizarre. FYI buyers beware. Based on poor service and mishandling of info by call center personnel, and based on the unwarranted and rude phone call from Dave Lavelle, i.e., poor service yet again, I would not recommend this particular dryer vent service to anyone else.

Very well. They were extremely responsive and was able to squeeze me in at the last minute. He removed the bird, sanitized the line and installed a bird proof cover to prevent this from happening again. Good service. The only thing I thought was the price was very high, in my opinion.

Everything went extremely well. Was able to schedule request on the website and then received a call to clarify my problem (dryer was taking too long to dry clothes) and set an appointment. Work was done quickly and efficiently and I don't think I'll have a problem in the future with either squirrels getting in or clothes not drying.

Daniel was courteous and professional.He cleaned our long dryer vent, replaced the outside cover and the vent hose behind the dryer.He was thorough and cleaned up the work areas before he left. We will definitely call him again when we need service.

Daniel was on time and did an outstanding job. He went over what was needed and solutions; from the minimum that should be done to the most complete. No upselling. All and all he did an outstanding job. Our electric bill should come down as a result. I'm amazed we didn't have a calamity from all the lent in the vent ! Will definitely call Vent Wizard again in a couple of years.

Our dryer stopped working and so we had it repaired and the guy who repaired it suggested that we have the dryer vent cleaned because he could see that it was full of lint. He came out and cleaned it. It was amazing! The dryer now instead of running for four hours runs for less than half an hour. It was a life changing moment, it was good! Everything was an A. They did a great job. They showed up on time and got everything done.

When my roof was being repaired I found out, that my dryer vent stopped in the attic and that is where all the lint was going. This can cause a fire, mold, etc. I called Dryer Vent Wizard. They sent service tech David Newton. He was very knowledgeable. He explained everything he had to do, which was involved because it had to be rerouted out of the attic. He showed me what he had to do and when the work was completed he showed me what he did. I felt for what he had to do the price was fair, He was polite and very nice. He even took all the lint out of the attic for me. I am definitely going to use Dryer Vent Wizard to keep my dryer vent clean. I would definitely recommend this company.

Very highly recommended. I had Dryer Vent Wizard out to inspect a newly purchased home where the previous owners appeared to not keep some of the systems in good shape. I didn't want to risk having a problem with the dryer vent and sure enough, the line and exterior screen was totally clogged with lint...a real fire hazard. After inspection, I had the line was cleaned and the exterior screen was fixed. Also, I was instructed about how to properly vent my new dryer once it arrives next week. I didn't know the flexible metal colored venting that everyone seems to use to attach their dryer to the vent opening is not considered optimal any longer. I felt the price was maybe a little high but on the other hand, the service was fast and professional and most importantly, I am now confident we are safe and the dryer will work as it should. Cant' beat that. Overall, I am happy with the service.

Very impressed with provider's knowledge and professionalism. He really educated me on some important fire prevention steps that we needed to complete. I listened to him and had him make the needed improvements. Great service!

Following up from a previous visit (see review 6/11/2015), where service was not provided I received a call from owner Dave Lavalle who informed me that he was able to find the parts to replace/repair the defective vent covers that were installed in my home (now 4 years old). Great job by service tech David Newton on installation and a big thanks to Dave Lavalle for going the extra mile to provide me the solution to my problem.

Dryer Vent Wizard was recommended by a neighbor after hearing about my vent issues. David (from DVR) came out when promised and we discussed my soffit vent problems. After a little discussion it was determined that DVR was really not in the bathroom vent business - my fault for not explaining in detail what I was really looking for. David made some recommendations as to what I might do to solve my problems and was on his way. I appreciate his professionalism and the fact he did not try to sell me something I did not need at this time. I definitely will use them in the future as well as recommend them now!

We recently moved into our home (Oct 2014). Shortly after, our dryer was not working properly. It was purchased within the last couple of years, so I thought it might be the dryer vents. I contacted Dryer Vent Wizard and they sent someone out as soon as possible. After Daniel came out, he informed me that it looked as though our dryer vents may have never been cleaned out and were posing a high level fire hazard. He explained all that needed (highly recommended) to be done in great detail and completed the task in an efficient, yet careful way. After completion, everything has been working great and I have piece of mind that the dryer vent is clean!!
