Wilson Heating & Air

I was assigned Wilson’s HVAC by AHS 7/10. The technician Scott came out 7/13 and made the assessment that my first stage compressor on my Trane unit was not working and would call in the repair to AHS to have it replaced or repaired. I had independently had another HVAC company come out and they made the same assessment so I knew he was being honest. I stood there with Scott as he diagnosed the issue and told me on 7/13 that he would call it in to AHS to have the system replaced since the faulty compressor was on an r22 unit and would ask for AHS to replace the entire unit. I then heard nothing from Wilson’s HVAC or AHS over the next week. I grew concerned and called on Thursday to see what the status was and learned that they had not even contacted AHS yet on the repair and claimed they had sent me a quote for thousands of dollars to upgrade my system. It was also at this point that I was told that Scott the technician was now claiming that the compressor was in fact not faulty. So here is the rundown so far: first Scott comes out and I witness him checking the compressor and him telling me it’s bad while I’m standing there. Tells me he’s calling it in to be fixed that day...he doesn’t, I call on Thursday and learn nothing has been done but the diagnosis has been mysteriously changed from a faulty compressor to nothing was wrong with my system (even though it was not cooling) but instead sent a quote to upgrade my system 4 days later when I call wondering what is going on. When I called Thursday the lady that handled the customers waffled back and forth when I was surprised that they were now saying that the compressor is good 4 days after telling me it was shot. She said that she would correct it and submit it to AHS with the original diagnosis that day. I call back Friday to check if it had been submitted yet and the folks working the phones did everything thing they could to avoid taking my call. I then call Monday morning 7/20 and I was told that the diagnosis was changed again...this time it was working. When I called out the inconsistency and apparent misrepresentations that were being thrown back and forth by their company to my self and AHS I was told that they would transfer the ticket to another company.

We had a new AC unit installed approx 5 years ago by a different company. The unit stopped cooling so I reached out to our home warranty company that arranged for Wilson Heating & Air to come out. Upon arrival, it took Scott and Brandon about 5 minutes to identify that the new unit that was installed has a known defect which causes the coolant to leak out so they suggested we try and do a warranty replacement for the defective part. Understanding this process might take a bit of time (and the fact our upstairs was hovering in the mid 80s), they went ahead and refilled the coolant to get us up and running. Replacing the coolant was an additional cost as the home warranty program only covers a portion so the concern was that the new coolant would leak out. They couldn't know for sure but thought it would probably be ok and that the leak was probably small. Fast forward one week and the process to get the new part covered under warranty is still in process but all of the coolant leaked out so the house returned to the mid 80s. Very uncomfortable and we were looking at temps in the 90s heading into the weekend. I called Wilson H&A and explained the situation and even though Scott & Brandon were out on calls all day outside the area, they swung by at the end of their day to make sure they could get us back up and running for the upcoming hot weekend. Understanding that I had already paid to have the coolant replaced once and the fact that it had leaked much more quickly than expected, they took care of the cost of the second refill. I couldn't be happier with the way Wilson A & H has handled this entire transaction so far. Their team is clearly knowledgeable, strives to do the right thing, and has demonstrated a willingness to go above and beyond to take care of their customers. I hardly ever take the time to write reviews, but in this case I felt this company deserved to receive recognition for their effort. They were very good. Very resaonable, polite, used them 9 times already, they will be coming back by April to make sure that that the Air Conditioning system is properly working.

I tried turning on my AC Unit a few weeks back when we had warm weather. Needless to say, it wasnt coming on. I feared the worst and was thinking the whole unit would need replacing. I contacted Wilson Heating and Air and Travis came out. In no time at all; he diagnosed a bad capacitor, and a unit that had been neglected of basic maintenance for quite some time. Not only did he get my unit running again, he got me setup on an awesome plan to service my system so I don’t have to worry about this issue again! Affordable, fast, and professional. Wilson heating and air is a GREAT company The technicians were very friendly, hard working, timely, efficient, good listeners, prompt, informative, tidy, knowledgeable, and committed to excellence. Used for a furnace replacement and install. Communication was good and price point was just within the budget.

Terrible! We had to go on a 5 week medical emergency trip, my father-in-law was dying of cancer & mother-in-law needed surgery. While we were gone our new 3 1/2 yr heat pump stopped working & was running on Aux heat whole time we were gone. Talked to WILSON & they said they would be at our house Sunday 9 - 11 am. We got up early Sunday expecting the WILSON tech to arrive. I called WILSON & she said they would let me know when the tech would arrive. About 15 minutes later (AHS) called me to say that WILSON tech would not be coming until Mon or Tues or they could find somebody else. I canceled the work order with WILSON also. They had my #'s & didn't even have the courtesy of calling me back to let me know! I am disabled now but, we used to own several businesses & we were always 5 star rated. Customer service was our #1 priority. We always contacted the customer for anything necessary.
