The installation went great. It turns out that the hot water heater I ordered from Home Depot wasn't the correct type because of the exhaust fan. Even though Steve and Liz picked-up the heater and were going to install it, they realized it would not meet code so they were able to get exactly the type we needed same-day and install it without any problem. They went the extra mile by picking up the correct unit right away on a Saturday and also loaded the Home Depot unit and drove it back to the store for us so we could return it. It's nice have proper shut-off valves to the hot water heater now so that if it ever needs to be serviced or drained in the future, the water to the entire cabin doesn't need to be shutoff. They were both incredibly professional and good problem solvers. With this being a vacation property, we can only spend so much time at the cabin so their ability to get something installed same-day after facing an initial problem that wasn't even caused by them was great. I recommended their services to our neighbor and I'm sure others in our area will use them. Thanks!!!

I was seeking a local plumber and everyone was busy with installations. Called All about Plumbing, left a message and within 20 minutes, Liz called me back. We set up a appointment over the phone and they arrived promptly at that time. She even asked what system I had so that they would have parts available to replace on-the-spot rather than having to wait for a follow-up. I was very impressed with their professionalism and know-how. They explained to me in details the issue, the fix and the tips for maintenance. It had to be the best experience I have ever had with a plumbing company and would use them again at the beckon's call. Hopefully, I won't have to do that, which means I am issue free. Steve and Elizabeth did a great job in repairing the drains at my home. They exceeded all my expectations, completed the repairs quickly, and do excellent work. Moreover, I appreciated the way they took the time to explain the problems encountered throughout the process.

Very prompt answer to my original phone inquiry. Appointment set for several days later. Day of appointment, they phoned to say they would be 45 minutes late. They are personable, knowledgeable and anxious to provide good service. My only complaint is that they left to find a part for my outdoor faucet and didn't return for over 90 minutes (and were unable to find the part which will have to be ordered). They should have phoned to let me know they were delayed.

All About Plumbing is a husband and wife team. I am a 60-plus year old owner of two homes and this couple are the very best plumbers I have ever used. They work well together and excel in all categories - they were pleasant to be around, honest, hard working, exceptionally knowledgeable, prompt, thorough and professional. They care deeply about the quality of their work and it shows. I discovered them yesterday on Angie's List and called them to find out if they could help me figure out why the water pressure at our mountain lake house had dropped gradually over the last couple of months. I was not optimistic that my issues could be resolved quickly. They returned my voicemail within minutes and came out to my house the same afternoon! Determining the cause of our water pressure problem required a great deal of investigation, patience, trial and error and knowledge. The problem turned out to be an unserviceable, hidden (buried, essentially) pressure reducing valve. They returned today to dig up, remove and replace the PRV and the main water shut off valve which was rusted and not operating. The valves were located in a tree and shrub bed next to the house and they took great care to avoid damaging plant roots and keep the area clean. In fact, they vastly improved the valve housing by lining it with stone and small rocks and adding extension box covers for the valves so they are easier to find. In addition, they created a shut off "tee" out of PVC plumbing pipe so that I can turn off my shut off valve myself if necessary (this valve is in a hole 3 feet deep in the ground). Other smaller but important-to-resolve issues were discovered in the process of their investigation and fixed also (for example, they removed and cleaned the filter screens on every faucet in the house and removed and replaced the bib washer in a hose bib). I am in awe of these folks. They love what they do, they are great at it and they take tremendous pride in their work. What more could you ask?

Steve at All About Plumbing was excellent! First let me say how hard it is to even get a plumber to respond in this area for service jobs. Steve called back within an hour of my message. I explained the problem and also explained that we did not live near the Cabin to meet him there. The plumbing at the cabin is somewhat complex as it is spring fed, that leads to holding tanks that then pump up the water to the cabin. Steve got there and started sending me pictures right away. He then called and explained each one. He also took care of a 4 foot copperhead that surprised him in the woods (thanks). He gave me costs on fixing the issues and he kept communicating to me the entire process. When there were some additional issues he discovered in the cabin he took care of those as well. Even my realtor was impressed at the level of service we got. I would recommend Steve and I have already used them again. Great service in an area that it is hard to sometimes even get a return call.

I am a general contractor in a nearby town, so I am intimately familiar with the plumbing trade and plumbing contractors. I also know the cost of house calls, repairs and maintenance. Steve Cleveland of All About Plumbing, was prompt and professional, and his price was reasonable.

On 4/15 Steve will install an new 50 gallonRheem electric water heater. On a second visit he will upsize 2 water lines to 3/4 inch, hot and cold, new cut off valve (the one we have now is at the back of the crawl space). He explained additional tasks to be done to bring everything up to North Caroline building code. Since our cabin is located in a fairly remote area of western NC, it is very difficult to find plumbers and electricians. It is even MORE difficult to find someone to show up! Steve and Liz are personable and honest and I know I can trust them to do a great job. I am looking forward to working with them and have already recommended them to a neighbor. Martha

This was the 6th call to different plumbers that we had made. We had been without water for 3 days. Had to leave messages at all the others and none of them ever returned our calls. This company not only answered our nearly 6:00pm call, but he had someone to our house within a couple of hours with no late in the day fees. The service tech was very friendly. Will definitely call them first should we need a plumber again.

The entire job went quite well. First they had to find the old main shut-off which was at the far end of the property and had to be dug out. Then they had to find the main water line into the house and then install the new main shut off valve. The replacement of the whole house water filter went relatively smooth. A small leak did develop but not for any reason caused by Steve. He was persistent in solving the problem and made sure that everything was as it should be before he left. I would definitely recommend All About Plumbing 4 U.

It went really well. There was a surprising amount of detective work involved due to the condition of the house, including whole sections of hidden plumbing with runs under a contract slab and no visible places where it came up, and an entire wing of the house that had no plumbing left what so ever. Steve was great - helping to map the morass (5.5 baths, 2 kitchens), troubleshoot multiple issues that came up (weird open supply lines in random walls, busted joints, broken fixtures), and adapting to the constantly changing requirements as conditions unfolded and I changed my plans accordingly. He also worked with me to help me prioritize what would be energized based on budget and need. Steve was great to work with, and took all the challenges and changes completely in stride and with a great attitude. As my 'project house' needs a LOT of work, I will be gladly calling on Steve again!
