 + -1 moreThe leak was noticed on February 19 after experiencing single digit lows at night. When I called I was informed that I was put on their list as they were already involved in a job and had another job before me. Considering the demand they were under due to all the plumbing issues experienced by many people because of the extremely cold weather I was pleasantly surprised that it only took one day to get the repair done. I have an English Bulldog that I have had problems with other service people because of their fear, but they have taken the time to get to know my dog so she is familiar with them. The repair was done in a friendly, fast, professional manner at a reasonable price. All About Plumbing 4 U is NOT building just a business they ARE building relationships to have repeat customers which I will be.
Description of Work: All About Plumbing 4 U repaired a leak that was under my home.

 + 0 moreI called to set up appointment and found out they were working in my area and they would be able to stop by same afternoon. Called 15 min ahead of arrival to confirm I was home. Installed kitchen faucet and corrected several plumbing installation errors/defective valve (hot water shut-off). They were very informative and the price was comparable to other Angie List. I discussed other work to be done at a later date and they provided useful information about how best to obtain the fixtures I wanted.
Description of Work: Installed kitchen faucet, replaced hot water shut off valve, re-directed dishwasher drain hose, installed deep drain basket.

Even though half of what they face is either behind dirt or a wall, their expertise enables fewer surprises. How well they treat others clearly demonstrates that their moral compass is true. You will not find a more trustworthy couple with whom to do business.
Description of Work: Located and repaired leaks in water lines running from the meter at the street. Strategized on best approach to raise the meters to grade. Involved Public Works for appropriate areas of the project in order to maximize resources.

Description of Work: I came home at 8:30 at night to find out I had trickle of water, on well water so was sure of the problem; a friend referred to me All About Plumbing4U. We have family sickness issues so time is a real problem for me. They called me by 9:00 that night, were out at 8:00 the next morning to help meet my schedule even thought they had an apt already set up for later that morning. I had water by 9:00 (lucky is was just a water pump switch) but the point was their willingness to respond quickly to help me out and at a reasonable price. Would definitely use them again.

 + 1 moreNo cuts was called 5 days in advance to come out & located water & power lines. Naturally when plumbers got there, no cuts did not do what they were supposed to. Plumbers called & rescheduled for me. THANKS GUYS!! After starting the job they found an easier & more cost effective way to do it & PASSED THE SAVINGS ON TO ME. I must say I am extremely satisfied with this provider. I have recommended them to a few other friends & ALL have said the same thing "FAIR & HONEST" what more can you ask for.

 + -1 moreI had a supply line for my shower spring a leak inside the wall, so I shut it off and called them the next morning. They came by a short time later, diagnosed the problem, replaced the damaged pipe, and secured the pipes properly so that it would not fail again. It was discovered that the other supply line was also damaged, so I had that replaced before it had a chance to fail the same way. They were very courteous, prompt, and showed me exactly what needed to be done. Since the other shower in my house was no doubt installed the same way and prone to the same failure, I will certainly be scheduling another appointment to repair it too.

Description of Work: Steve and Elizabeth replaced all the valve shut offs for the three commodes and three vanities in my home and installed Grohe faucets in the guest bath and repaired a shower flow control valve. We recently remodeled our home and the contractor did not change any of the 20+ year old shut off valves that were leaking. Steve and Elizabeth examined all the plumbing that was performed by the contractor's plumber and fixed all problems. All materials were top quality. Steve called the Grohe customer service line to replace parts that did not function as intended and they were great about shipping them to my home free of charge to me. They explained each issue in detail. They fixed a drain that was backing up because the drain had been installed by the contractor's plumber with an internal pipe that was too long and was therefore cutting off the drain flow. Steve and Elizabeth get to the bottom of the plumbing problem so that as the homeowner, I do not have to worry that water from the second floor might leak to the first floor because of a shoddy installation. Stever and Elizabeth have pride in their work and I would recommend them to anyone in need of plumbing work.

Description of Work: Steve and Elizabeth replaced all the polybutelene lines and copper with Pex piping, brass fittings & copper crimp rings. No short cuts were done. Drywall cuts were replaced better than when he started. Replaced 2 tub & shower valves-Delta 1100 series brass rough in valves. Installed 2 cut-off valves in the wash room as well. I purchased a new hot water heater and while here, they installed it.

 + 0 moreHad accidently flushed a cleaning rag down one of our toilets. Luckily it didn't stop the toilet up. Expecting out-of town guests to arrive the next day for the holidays, we felt it best to have it checked. I searched Angie's list and found All About Plumbing, gave them a call and was asked what time we would be available that same day. With it being Friday I expected to have to wait until the next week. We received a call prior to their coming to ensure we were home and verify directions. They arrived promptly and went straight to work. Steve and Elizabeth checked the lines and found the rag had passed through the pipes. They explained exactly what they were doing and what they found. We mentioned a pressure issue and Steve graciously said he would check it before leaving. He quickly identified the problem, explained what was needed to fix. Very professional and courteous team. We will be using their services again in a couple of weeks. Thanks Steve and Elizabeth for your attentiveness.
Description of Work: We thought we could potentially have a clogged pipe after a cleaning rag was flushed down the toilet. All the lines were flushed from inside to out to ensure the rag had passed.
