Dellinger's Upholstery

Spot on with the estimate on fabric yardage. Both of the chairs and the sets of cushions were a more complicated job. Large bold scale pattern matching for the cushions and double welting and 2 different fabrics for the chairs. Flawless execution. Dellinger's did an awesome job. I'd highly recommend them.

I sent 2 chairs to be reupholstered to Dellinger's based on a recommendation from a friend. They were picked up from my mother's home along with the fabric. The chairs were not upholstered exactly (2 fabrics were used) as agreed (in writing in a text message). When the chairs were brought back I expressed my concern, but thought I could get used to them, and the quality of work was great. About 24 hours later I called Frank and asked they be redone as per the original request. He assured me that he wanted all of his clients happy and would gladly fix them if I would please wait until after the busy Thanksgiving holiday. No problem. After Thanksgiving, there were several unanswered calls and texts. I called and spoke with his father, Larry who again assured me this would be fixed if I could wait until after the busy Christmas season. No problem. It is January 5th and again, no response to calls. Friendly as can be to get your business, but want nothing to do with you after you've paid. And QUITE expensive at that.

They are very good. A little pricey but they do excellent work. They did an awesome job. The chair had a quilt type thing and it was very intricate. They just took a long time to do it. I just recommended them to someone else.

They've done several things for me. Chairs, sofas. They're real good. They were very good. they did an excellent quality job. They did superior work. I had a problem with the back cushions, they came back and redid it for me.

The price they provided was fair for the upholstery work and pick up and delivery. However, they failed to hold up their promise to pick up the recliner. I would have preferred they told me up front about the pick up instead of promising to come and pick up the chair. I wasted three weeks waiting on them. I have found another upholstery provider in my area that will provide the service I need. I contacted them because I had work done in the past with excellent results. Needless to say, I wasted time waiting on them.

I call Mr. Dellinger and ask how much fabric I will need to buy to cover my chair, sofa etc. He gives me the total amount and when the fabric comes in, he comes to our home and picks up the furniture and the fabric. The furniture is usually finished in about 2 weeks. He then delivers it and places it in our home. He has always been prompt and the furniture is beautiful.

Everything went well and they were prompt and efficient in getting the work done and the items back to us.

Picked up cushions and delivered them back in 10 days. Pick up and delivery included in price. They look fantastic. Better then they looked when new!

Mr. Dellinger set a pickup time, and was punctual. He also re-upholstered the sofa in a timely fashion, although I was not in any particular hurry. I requested new cushions and 5 large pillows to be made for the sofa back, along with arm covers (sleeves). This was all done beautifully and exactly as I had requested. This is an antique sofa, going back at least to my great-grandparents and was missing a decorative piece from the center front. Mr. Dellinger returned the piece with a replacement piece that was almost identical to the two that were already there ~ for free. First-rate work indeed.

He is good at what he does and is honest.

Dellinger's is great! They picked up the chair when they said they were going to. They returned it when they said they were going to. Their work was excellent, and they even found a crack in the frame of the chair which they mended at no additional charge. Overall, very easy to work with.

Very nice on the initial call and said he would pick up on Tuesday at 2PM. At 1:45 he called and said he was running late. That was over 2 weeks ago. He will not return my calls. I even asked him to call me if he did not have time to do this job so I could find someone else. Nothing! Very poor!

Very nice work, done in a timely manner. Very helpful determining amount of fabric needed and gave recommendations as to type and where to purchase.

CALLED DELLINGER'S TO MAKE AN UPHOLSTERED HEADBOARD, LARRY QUOTED A PRICE OF $325. HE STATED IT WOULD TAKE 14 DAYS TO MAKE/DELIVER. HE WAS PROMPT IN PICKING UP THE FABRIC. THAT'S WHERE THE PROMPTNESS ENDED. I WAITED TO HEAR THAT MY HEADBOARD WAS READY; HEARD NOTHING. I PHONED AND LEFT A MESSAGE AND HEARD BACK THAT HIS SCHEDULE BECAME BUSY. HE ASKED FOR 2 MORE WEEKS. AGAIN I WAITED; HEARD NOTHING. THIS TIME WHEN I CALLED AND LEFT MESSAGES, I DIDN'T GET A CALL BACK. I WAS FINALLY ABLE TO REACH A LIVE PERSON BY CALLING EARLY IN THE MORNING AND FOUND OUT THAT WORK HAD NOT YET BEGUN (60 DAYS LATER.) I WAS TOLD HE WOULD START WORKING ON IT AND DELIVER 2 DAYS LATER. DID NOT HAPPEN. I CALLED EARLY AGAIN, GOT ANOTHER REASON WHY THE WORK HAD NOT BEEN DONE. I WAS TOLD THAT I WOULD GET A CALL BACK THAT DAY. DID NOT HAPPEN. I FEEL DELLINGER'S HAS BEEN GIVEN EVERY OPPORTUNITY TO DELIVER ON THE SERVICE PROMISED, BUT HAVE LOST ALL CONFIDENCE AND HAVE DECIDED TO WORK WITH SOMEONE ELSE.

LARRY DELLINGER DOES WHAT HE SAYS HE WILL DO AND IN THE TIME HE PROMISES. THE MAN IS A PROFESSIONAL, KNOWS WHAT HE IS DOING, HIS PRICES WERE OUTSTANDING AND HIS SUGGESTIONS WERE PERFECT. HE IS A GREAT PROBLEM SOLVER. I WISH I HAD MORE WORK FOR HIM!

THOUGH HE IS LOCATED JUST OUTSIDE CHARLOTTE, HE DOES MAKE TRIPS HERE ON TUESDAYS AND THURSDAYS. HE WAS VERY COURTEOUS AND PROFESSIONAL BOTH ON THE PHONE AND AT DELIVERY. HIS WIFE ALSO WORKS WITH HIM AND WAS EQUALLY AS PLEASANT TO DEAL WITH.

I HAVE USED THIS COMPANY SEVERAL TIMES. I WAS UNSATISFIED WITH THE CUSHION OF A CHAIR DELLINGER'S HAD REUPHOLSTERED OVER A YEAR AGO. FINALLY CALLED ABOUT IT. MR. DELLINGER CAME PROMPTLY TO GET THE CUSHION, REDID IT AND RETURNED IT SHORTLY THEREAFTER. PROBLEM FIXED. NO CHARGE.

VERY PLEASED WITH THEIR WORK. THEY EVEN ADDED A NEW FOAM SEAT CUSHION FOR ME, WITHOUT ADDITIONAL CHARGE. PICK and DELIVERY WAS FREE.

DOES VERY, VERY GOOD WORK, BUT DID A LOVESEAT W/FOUR BIG PILLOWS. TIMELINESS IS REALLY A PROBLEM. TOOK TWICE AS LONG. HAVE TO BE FIRM WITH DEADLINES.
