Their bid was over priced.

Mr. Locklear hired a sub for the framing and roofing. The sub then left town and left a single man to do the entire job. The sub then quit paying his lone worker. Mr. Locklear instead of firing the sub and hiring a competent one decided to put a bandaid on it. I have had doors fall out of a frame because so few nails and the wrong type were used. The major problem is that the roof leaks. Mr. Locklear has been here three times to fix it. I now have the wrong type shingles on part of the roof, he charged me $300 additional bucks to reseal an outdoor flooring that was already properly sealed by my painter. Bottom line is my roof still leaks. I am sure that Mr. Locklear has his side of the story but bad quality work doesn't lie it leaks.

Started off strong with framing and then would disappear with little communication with us on what was going on. left the work areas a mess with boards and nails everywhere. We would get fed up and clean it up so our kids could play. Had to rearrange my father coming to stay with us because a four week project turned into a four month project. His estimates were horribly off. He said the bathroom vanity and top cost $400, when it reaally cost $400 for the vanity and an additional $209 for the top. The roof shingles do not match the rest of the house. There are gaps in the dry wall where some connect. Some doors are very hard to close. No one would be at the house or let us know it was being inspected so there were more issues. Mr. Locklear would not check the work of anyone under him unless an inspector made him or we complained. He would only come by if he wanted another payment. We finally said we had enough and finished the bathroom and floors ourselves.

The only contractor to be on time with ALL appointments. Worked directly with my wife and myself to finalize our plans, stayed on top of all work and sub-contractors, keeping us informed at every milestone. Accepted nothing but perfection from the subcontractors. Finished an extensive 600sqft remodel within 6 weeks....ON TIME, ON BUDGET and Quality Work. Definitely at the top of my list for any other project !

Proposal was made in Feb 2014 to convert deck into sunroom. Everything stated in proposal was done Less than 30 days later deck complete. Wife satisfied.

Mr Locklear started with something that should have been torned down. I never thought that he could have made a room that flowed into my den.....He is very particular about the smallest details I would recommend Mr. locklear for remodeling, H,e is absolutely amazing.I would also recommend a contract...he prices one thing then comes back with another...I know I spent too much for what he did, would not use him again even though the work was good..too pricey

We are extremely pleased. Nash worked along side another contractor to complete a job in a very short time. The workmanship and pride in the work they do showed in the smallest details. We will definitely be using them for our next project. Highly recommend Nash Locklear Construction.
