There was some initial miscommunication re what I was wanting/expecting vs what he understood I wanted that was quickly resolved at no extra cost. It was probalby more expensive then someone else would have done the same for but the outcome met my expectations

Very pleasant, very professional, were very punctual. I didn't really have anything negative to say about them.

I purchased two Angie's List Big Deals from Villas and More/Windows Depot. Each deal provided 5 energy efficient vinyl windows for 1500$. I was contacted almost immediately by a man named Ed. He came out to my home and went over the windows with me. I felt very comfortable with him and good about the product I was receiving. He then told me that I would next be contacted by the person who would be measuring the windows. Almost 2 weeks went by, and I was never contacted, so I called Ed. After 2 days and multiple phone calls and an email trying to get in touch with him, he called. He simply said, and quot;I have not worked for Villas and More in 10 days..call the owner if you have not been contacted about the windows.and quot; I then called the owner, Louis, who informed me that I would have to get my money back from Angie's List as he would be unable to honor the Big Deal. I was in shock, as we needed the windows and now we were back at square one. I contacted Angie's List to get a refund. They convinced me to let them try and find a company that would honor the Big Deal. They told me that it would take about 48 hours. After about 96 hours, I still had not heard anything from them, so I asked that they refund my credit card. This was done without difficulty.

I really can't say enough about how pleased we are with our "platinum" windows from Window Depot USA. We had hired Louis Villamore and the crew from Villas and More to add a room to our home. That job was completed on time and within budget (to be described in a separate report on Angie's List). We were so pleased with the new window they had installed in the room addition that we asked Louis to quote on replacing the windows in our entire house through his other company, Window Depot USA of the Carolinas. We had already gotten quotes from three other window companies and were therefore prepared for to pay a premium price for high quality windows. The quote from Window Depot USA was several thousand dollars LESS than the lowest quote from any other company for windows of comparable quality. Louis' sales technique was friendly, straightforward and honest, with no deceptive, misleading statements or high-pressure sales pitch. Installation began the morning of the day they had promised and was finished on the same day. It was a hot, sunny day, and as soon as the first window was installed I could immediately feel the difference between the amount of heat that was passing right through the old windows but was being BLOCKED by the new windows. Our heating and cooling costs have been reduced as promised, and we love the smooth operation of the windows and the fact that we'll never have to paint window trim again! We've since hired Villas and More to do additional work on our home and have recommended Window Depot USA of the Carolinas to anyone interested in replacement windows. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them again.

Did not use

They were wonderful. Luis came out and he was just very articulate. He worked well with our structural engineer. If he had any questions, then he would call the engineer and double check before he proceeded. They were on time and were tidy. They removed all the debris when they did some concrete under the house. I would recommend them highly. They did a great job for us. I was very pleased with everything that they did. They made sure that the gate was closed because we have a dog.

The job did not go well.

There was a quick turn around, the job went smotothly. The shower turned our great. It was a world difference from what the shower was before.

It went very well. We were not there in the city when they did the work, but since we have used them in the past and knew the quality of their work from before we had no problem not being there. It was done to our specification.

We were very happy with them. They were always on time, totally above board and worked with us on things. They went with us when picking out countertops, cabinets, etc.. I now go golfing with one of the guys and got to know their families. The job turned out great and we are extremely pleased with their work. The subcontractors that they had were outstanding as well. We would highly recommend them.

From the time that we contacted Villas and More Construction we had a quick call back (sometime that day). They analyzed the situation, called in a architectural engineer and did any work that needed to be done in a couple of days. They knew that we had a time frame to work in since we had an offer on our house. They worked in that time frame and had everything finished but the sale still fell through. This was not caused by their work or time that they put into the job but by the home inspector putting a comment in the inspection report that the house was not built to code. Louis and Dennis kept us appraised of the situation and any additional costs that came up after the original bid.
