Theresa answered my call and was very friendly and professional. The work was scheduled for the next day. Theresa called in the morning to let me know approximately what time the service technician would be here. Kevin, the technician, also called me when he as about 15 minutes away. He was professional, courteous, and efficient. He diagnosed the problem quickly, told me what needed to be done to fix it, and then did so. He was in and out in about 45 minutes. I was surprised at how quickly and cheaply they fixed the problem. I am delighted with the service I received from Theresa and Kevin!

We had ADT at our old house and thought we would use them again, but they didn't return our calls. I came on Angies List to see what other options there were and realized that the big companies actually had poor ratings and were franchised (this was unknown to me). Diamond Electronics were highly rated so I gave them a call. The reviews were accurate. Rick came out the day after I called. I told him what I wanted, he pointed out how that would probably be more than I could afford (we are on a tight budget because we have two houses right now) and offered another option. They also gave us a great deal on installation because we entered into a three year monitoring contract. When we cancelled ADT we found out we also had a 3 year contract but they never told us that and we paid a lot more for installation. Diamond Electronics tells you everything up front, they are easy to deal with, they have a better price and MUCH better service. I'm so glad that there are other options than the big, franchised security services. They also install cameras, entertainment centers, etc. We had them work up some bids for other work so as we have the money they will be able to help us make some additional improvements to the house.

Diamond Electronics installed a new security system to replace an existing one, re-using some of the existing hardware such as the motion detector to reduce costs. The $622 included not just the new alarm system but also 3 months of monitoring. Installed in the home were 2 new keypads, a new indoor siren, glass breakage, 2 fire alarms, and cellular backup for $490 (using the Angie's list coupon for 1 free fire alarm). No labor charge for my new system. Monitoring costs $44 per month for basic + cellular, which is comparable with other alarm companies when including the cellular backup monitoring. And what makes it so great is that the contract period is only 1 year with a UL certified central monitoring station. Broadview, ADT and others are all 3 year contracts. The gentleman that came out was right on time for my quote and when I asked when he could install, he was prepared to do so right at that moment, which was great. He spent approximately 6 hours in the house from start to finish. Excellent work, and work ethic, with a price that beat what I had estimated I was going to spend. He was knowledgeable and helpful. I intend to have Diamond Electronics come back for more work to take advantage of some of the other services they offer (networking, A/V). I was very pleased and highly recommend using this company.

They were prompt. They showed evidence that they were experienced. They finished on time as expected and did a complete clean up. We got a follow up call in 2 days and again in one week.

They're great! They're usually in and out and that's it unless there's a problem. They're quite punctual and professional. They were really good at installing some additional security features. We are happy with not only them but with their pricing as well. These people are really good. They are local and family operated.

I checked Angie's list for an alarm installation, service, and monitoring company that had great reviews and I am extremely glad I did. These guys are top notch and every review I read accurately reflects the high level of quality and service you can expect from this company. They are professional, they do what they say they are going to do (no bait and switch), they are reasonably priced, and they were very respectful of a 55 year old home. What I liked most was David's willingness to help define the optimal solution (price vs. capability) that worked for my needs and did not try to oversell me or fit me into a "special" package. They also were very accommodating of my rushed schedule and actually completed the installation in the same week as I accepted the quote. David and Kevin installed my system in a house that had not previously had an alarm system. Everything they added looked great when finished and I could not be more pleased with the result. David took the time to explain the system in detail and told some of the helpful tricks and common mistakes owners make. The system is capable of remotely operating all components, including the thermostats, over a high speed internet connection but I did not need that at this point. It is nice to have it as an option to add later, however. It was a great experience working with Diamond.

They don't try to oversell you. They don't lock you into a contract and their pricing is very reasonable. They are providing cellular service so that burglars can't cut your line. The workers did a very neat and thorough job. From estimate to installation it took only a week for the whole job. They give you an option to lease or buy equipment which I like.

Very professional company! From the initial contact, thru the proposal, installation and set up everything was top notch. They did a great job gathering information about our needs and surveying the areas to be secured before making the proposal. Other companies tried to do this over the phone! Once we contracted the work, the set the date for installation, and showed up exactly as scheduled. The work went smoothly and they worked around our business operations. The technicians were great and they took extra time to make sure everyone fully understood how the system worked.

They were great. Came out on a Saturday morning to give us an estimate. Installed the system and didn't try to sell us more than we needed. Made some excellent recommendations on what we needed and what was a waste of money.

This company's work was outstanding. The owner and installation team were available the entire time to answer our questions about the system. They gave us excellent training on how to operate the system and were very patient with our questions concerning the overall system. The components of the system were installed very professionally with minimum visibility to the human eye. This company exceeded our expectations for this work and I would highly recommend them for electronic work to anyone.

After an attempted break-in at my home, I decided to upgrade/ renovate my 20 yr. old security system. I spoke to Rick at Diamond Electronics and he came the following morning to evaluate my old system and suggest upgrades. I was impressed that Rick did not suggest I rip out the whole old system and start from scratch but determined what could be integrated into an updated system to give us the dependable protection we wanted at at the lowest possible price. The install was scheduled for early the following week. David and Keith were right on time and installed the upgrade in about 3.5 hours. They explained the system and had me practice under their supervision until I was comfortable with it's operation. All in all, a very pleasant hassle free experience from start to finish and the system works great.

Perfect. Dave and Keith restored my alarm to full functionality and added/enabled expanded features, all within the time (and at the cost) originally estimated. While the cost wasn't exactly cheap, the value was excellent. They optimized my existing equipment rather than recommending a more costly replacement. I had some schedule disruptions that caused me to cancel and reschedule the original work appointment. Theresa helped me to stay in their queue and get the job done.

Rick spent time explaining different security options and recommendations. This was the follow-up to a home burglary and having Diamond install the system and working with the company helped lessen my fears and concerns. Diamond is a great company. I had also had references on this company from friends and family members who also use Diamond Electronics.

THEY ARE THE CHEAPEST, BUT THEY HAVE THE BEST QUALITY. THEY WERE ALSO VERY ACCOMODATING TO THE THINGS THAT I WANTED AND NEEDED.
