AN absolute horrible experience. From the lady that answers the phone and says she will find out the issue and call back (but never does), to the tech that keeps ordering the exact same part (which keeps being defective). The ice maker in my fridge went out. I called Edward's Appliance to fix it. They came out in February of 2011 to repair it and had to order a part. After a few weeks, they came back out to install the part. It did not work and the tech said that the part must be defective and they would have to order another. After another 2 months, they came out again and said that part must be defective too. Then several months went by and they never called nor came back despite the fact that they never fixed the icemaker. I called yet again and they said that they had to order an entire new icemaker. Ok, fine. They brought the new icemaker out and installed it, but it did not work. They siad it must be defective. Then they did not call me back for over 3 months. I called to ask what was taking so long to fix a simple icemaker and was told that they needed to order yet anotehr icemaker. It has now meen over 19 months and they never repaired the item of which I already paid them for. I filed a complaint with the BBB and Edward's Appliances never answered the complaint. After reading multiple negative reviews online about Edward's, I now know that I have been scammed. Stay away from this company at all costs or buyer beware.

Absolutely terrible. After 18 months, my ice maker is still not fixed and they will not return my phone calls. Stay away from this company at all cost.
Description of Work: The ice maker in my 4 year old fridge went out. Edwards sent a tech out and said he had to order a part. After waiting 4 weeks, the tech came back out and said that the part did not work as it was defective. He had to order a replacement. This went on for over 6 months with the exact same excuse. Then he said he had to order a new ice maker. Another 6 months went by with multiple ice makers being installed. Same issues....they did not work and "Samsung must have sent a bad part". I contacted Edwards several times to complain and kept being told by the lady who answers the phone that she will call me back....she never did. I filed a complaint with the BBB and noticed dozens of the same types of complaints against this company. I asked for a refund and they will not return my calls. After 18 months, the ice maker is still NOT fixed and I am out $200. Stay away from this company at all costs.

We are looking into this call. So far the notes I have read indicate that each time we returned to the house we replaced the part sent to us by Samsung. The fact that the parts were duds or only worked for a little while is out of our control. I think the ice maker was replaced four times. Part of the communication problem was working with a tenant and land lord not just one person to schedule or discuss the matter with. The $85 dollars was the fee charged for a service call. A service call was performed. Any extra monies would have been for parts. There was no additional labor charged even though we went to the house numerous times to replace faulty parts.

We've been using them and they have always been good to us. They have been coming since we've owned the house. Michael Edwards got very sick; he had cancer. The people that work for him aren't that great. I won't complain about them because we've been using them for 4 years until he got sick. They were excellent before the owner got sick. They were not able to fix my dryer. We called Samsung and they extended the warranty. We've never really had a problem with him. He was a decent guy. He was very professional with the problems we had when we first moved into our house.
Description of Work: I've used Edward's Appliance Service for appliance repair. They last were here to try to fix a dryer. There was a part that was bad and they had to order the part and then they put in the wrong part.

I liked them very much and would recommend them to family and friends. Edwards Appliance got the dryer working quickly. They also cleaned up everything that they used. I was very pleased with them.
Description of Work: Edwards Appliance changed the pump in my dryer.
