Response from Unified Electrical Services
Oh, [Member Name Removed]. We are very sorry to hear this. We are thankful for you having allowed us the opportunity to provide you with electrical services on multiple projects in 2021, and we are thankful for your feedback. Wiring a full apartment basement; installing deck receptacles and post lights; adding wiring to a cabin loft; and wiring an agriculture shed can be costly. We would like the opportunity to go over your invoices and discuss any fees you feel were hidden as perhaps our invoicing process was too vague back then and it did not explain our fees well enough. We didn’t realize there was an issue then because we had been asked to continue with more projects. We pride ourselves in our work and our pricing. We are not the cheapest company and do not aim to be. However, we do provide quality, neat and clean installations in residential, commercial and institutional settings. We are very knowledgeable of electrical code requirements and, as a retired fireman, will only provide safe electrical work. In our business, it’s sometimes difficult to prepare our customers for the final invoices as work may be added to our scope while we are completing an original project. That can make invoicing unclear because they feel that while we are there it should be very simple to add something. These changes have additional fees, no matter how small the customer may feel the project is. We offer a 1-year parts and labor warranty to our customers, and we sincerely feel that we are very approachable to discuss our fees. We also work estimated jobs so customers know ahead of time what the fee will be for a project. If our estimates are not within budget, or a customer feels it is not reasonable, we welcome discussion so that we can potentially meet at an agreed upon solution. We would like to meet with you to share the details of our services for your invoices and welcome the opportunity to correct any issues you may have that we are unaware of. Thank you, [Member Name Removed], and we look forward to hearing from you. With utmost respect, Marcie
