It went very well. There were a couple of delays but these were weather related. He was able to bring in help to get the job done in a timely fashion. He was very thorough in his explanation of what he would do in terms of preparation and how he would work. His choice of color for the wood pieces was spot on. He also agreed to pressure-wash the stone fire pit to remove rust stains while he cleaned the wood. Results were excellent.

It all went very well. He quoted me on the job, sent me a proposal/contract so that there would be no confusion. He showed up on time, did the work he said he would do and cleaned up the mess. I do not know what more you could want. I have had a hard time finding somebody reliable to do this work, and this fellow suited my needs perfectly. As a bonus, he seems like a very likable person on the phone too. I will use him again and I recommend others to give him a shot.

I was extremely pleased with the quality of his work. He made sure the light switches were even working the way I wanted them to before installing the ceiling fans. He was quick. I saved money because quotes from electricians were almost twice as much. I also bought one of the fans from him. He had previously purchased one and did not end up using it. The fan is beautiful and works perfectly in my master bedroom tray celling. Carl arrived early, called before he knocked to let me know. He finished promptly, was neat and tidy while he worked and even petted my puppies when I let them in for breakfast. I'll be using Carl regularly and if you are in the Lincoln/Hickory area, you should too.

When he did the waterproofing he cleaned out my gutters, he came back multiple times to fix any places where the water was coming through and never charged me anything extra for those trips. He was so meticulous, eager to please, and had my best interest in mind. I just called him and he came out that same day. He's very trustworthy and will always look for the best prices on materials without downgrading. I'm a widow and have had very difficult time in the past finding someone who I can trust to do good work.
