BURKHART'S CARPET CLEANING

I needed carpet cleaning, fast. My spouse has a dementia and had a major "accident" that she tracked through the master bedroom carpet, bathroom tile, and hardwood floors in the family room/hall way. I cleaned the hardwood floors and bathroom tile the evening/night it happened but had no means of cleaning carpet. The next morning (July 5), I checked Angie's List and found Burkhart's which is in my community (Lexington). I was not optimistic that anybody could come on short notice. I called and the phone was promptly answered by a very courteous lady. I told my story and she immediately called Joe. Even though it was a day off for Joe, he went immediately to get his work van and was at my house in less than a hour. The lady also called me back immediately to inform he was coming. Joe started the job and shortly had the dirtied carpet clean. He also cleaned a soiled spot on the sofa arm. My wife refused to get off the sofa and I had to hold her legs while Joe got the sofa arm clean. He also did a seat on a dining room chair. I asked if he did tile cleaning (yes) so I asked him to clean the master bath floor. His equipment sanitizes both the tile and carpet. I had not even asked how much the job would cost cause it just needed to be done. He could have really overcharged. He did not. He charged only $75 for the job and did it on his day off! Did I give him a tip? Darn right I did! He deserved it and I want him back should there be another "accident". Joe was very professional, courteous, and friendly. He explained what he was doing. I'm very happy with the work that he did!
