Description of Work: Graded, fertilized and Re-Seeded front lawn. Moved hardscape, treated, and mulched designated areas, All services were performed well, timely, and as planned.

Description of Work: They are excellent at landscaping and at mowing / general lawn care. The only room for improvement would be in the areas of gardening, weeding, shrubbery and tree trimming.

Description of Work: They completed back patio with retaining wall, fire pit, and french drain system. Paul is a professional and knows his business. Only complaint was lack of supervision over work crew. Project took longer than anticipated due to this issue.

Description of Work: This company has done several large landscaping projects for us, as well as our routine maintenance. These projects included installing beds with trees and shrubs, putting in a fire pit, installing a beautiful boulder fountain in our Koi pond, accent landscape lighting, and expanding our irrigation system. The owner and employees of this company are extremely professional and take great pride in their work. I highly recommend them.

Description of Work: We called them to come out for an project estimate and they did come out; however, they never called back with an estimate. We did not pursue them further.

Description of Work: Artistic Design Landscapes came out to fertilize and remove some stumps. Last week, they trimmed all our plants.

Description of Work: Paul and his team put in hardscaping, removed a large tree and built a winding walkway from the street to our front porch. We get tons of compliments on our front yard now and it has really increased the curb appeal. The work was done in in a timely manner and stayed within the estimates, even when some of the work was harder than anticipated. The entire team was very professional. We will definitely use Artistic Landscaping when we redo our side yard and back yard.

Description of Work: We had some grading to be done before we could start. Removed existing wooden porch, plant material and soil where needed. We added a private patio, surrounded by a seating wall, a pergola and water feature to our master bedroom. Also, there was an additional patio by the back entrance to the kitchen area. Joining the two areas was a nice stone walkway and finished off with nice landscaping to tie it all together. Artistic Design Landscapes also recovered the existing walkways to match the new work and toped it off with lighting for evening use.

Description of Work: 1. Updated our mailbox area with stone around the drainage ditch, added mulch, river rock and new plants. 2. Built a stone wall around two large trees in the front yard, replaced the mulch and plants. 3. Added a low stone wall around half of the house to contain the mulch/plant areas, added some plants. 4. Built a patio approximately 20'x20' with seating walls, a fire pit, a raised area with a swing and a 5' tall pondless waterfall.

Description of Work: We had just installed a new pool and wanted landscape design to design a plan that added privacy around pool along with natural beauty of foliage. Paul Farringer designed a plan that meet all our needs. and then some! He and his team preformed grating work, designed flower beds, planted shrubs, tree and flowers, they added walkways/entryways,added landscape lighting around pool, did drainage work and made our pool absolutely beautiful.

Description of Work: Removed concrete patio in front of porch and replaced it with larger patio composed of cobbles. Created a stepping stone and river rock pathway between the front of house and side patio. Enlarged side patio and replaced with cobbles to match the front of house. Added rock to check erosion where lot meets the roadway. Mulched beds. Further landscaping to be completed in next few weeks.

Description of Work: I located Artistic Design Landscapes, and owner Mr. Paul Farringer, through Angies List and hired them to do a few projects in my yard: 1) design and build a dog yard on the side of my house, 2) design and install a driveway of pavers, and 3) landscape (and design) the side and back of my house. To say that I am happy with the results would be an extreme understatement. I am thrilled and delighted with the artistry, creativity, and practicality with which my projects were designed and implemented. The results are stunning. Form and function, at a reasonable price. 1)The dog yard was designed by them and they were very sensitive to the fact that my dog is very small and spaced the slats so that she could see out easily but would not get her head caught in between the slats...something I never even thought of! They made it tall enough that she could not get out and so that preditors could not jump in (we have coyotes up here in the mountains), and created a "safety zone" near the house should it rain or, in the case of large predatory birds. The resulting design (which in color matches my house trim and in design really adds to the beauty of my home) is practical and very very lovely. Friends and neighbors (including a friend who works in design) have commented that it really adds alot of character to my home. It is beautiful and in the event I sell the property, can be used as either a dog yard or a pretty garden addtion as it has a latched entry gate. 2 & 3)The installation and sealing of the driveway pavers and landscaping on the side of my home took what was the ugliest side of my home and made it the MOST BEAUTIFUL. They were meticulous in their approach to the design and engineering aspect of the driveway, as they painstakingly installed the pavers in such a way that ensures that rainfall washes away from the base of the house instead of into the foundation. Again: Their idea and implementation. The colors which they selected (and I approved) were a perfect match for the contrasting stone and wood design of my house. The design pattern they chose (and I approved) gave the driveway interest and they inserted an elegant diamond design at the entryway to the driveway. DO THEY EVER FALL SHORT OF CREATIVE IDEAS? The answer to that question would be: NEVER. The landscaping they did on both sides of the driveway is gorgeous, with local plants and a blue spruce tree, roses, and lillies incorporated into the mulch and river rock. They took the landscaping thru the back side of the house and installed the pavers in the same pattern as the driveway on a small back patio leading off the garage. This gives my home a "finished" look and it is warm and inviting. They extended the fence on one side of my home to the end of the property line and built large beautiful flower boxes in the front of my home and planted black eyed susans in them.

Description of Work: Established new landscape beds and filled with pine needles on a 1.6 acre property.

Description of Work: 1. Installed four drain basins and drainage pipe, also raised the natural area on the side of the yard where we were having erosion problems. 2. Installed and buried three gutter drain lines. 3. Trimmed a long privacy hedge down the property line. 4. Completely rebuilt our stone paved sidewalk. 5. Seeded and fertilized the yard.

Description of Work: My experience with Artistic Design and with Paul we great right from the start. Paul answered the phone on my first call and I was immediately impressed with his professionalism. The work that was done; fence repair, mowing, tree cutting, large area weed/grass kill , clean up and hauling away and a few various other jobs were done with pride and attention to detail. I felt confident when I was not at home that the work would be done extremely well and felt I could trust him and his workers completely. He never failed to ask if I was pleased with every phase of work before he continued to the next task. I highly recommend Artistic Design and will continue to use them for my lawn maintenance.

Description of Work: We were so pleased with this companies work on a drainage problem in front and side of our home and rocking our driveway. We decided have Paul back again to do some work on the ugly hill behind our house. He did some drainage work on top of hill to redirect the water running down. We also had Paul do an over 20foot drop waterfall and pond basin. Paul placed each stone himself and is very picky. The waterfall is awesome. It is illuminated so we can enjoy it at night. If you want any landscaping done call Paul. He is very artistic in his designs.

Description of Work: I had a gravel driveway installed. We also had several areas that were washing out the yard and had them repaired and drainage ditches put in.
