sewing machine repair
+ -1 more\I had to take my machine to and quot;Foam and Fabricsand quot;, and it was returned there the following Monday. I haven't had time to use it yet, as I had 15 guests during the holidays,and am still undecorating and getting my house in order. Mark said to call him if there are any future problems, and I intend to.
Description of Work: My pressure foot would go up & down. Also had problems with stitch tension, etc. He fixed everything, got it in good running order, and said if I would get him to service it once a year, it would only cost $30. He was very prompt, as I told him I needed it ASAP.

Description of Work: Repaired an older model sewing machine. Mark called and explained what needed to be done and gave me a price. Work was completed on time. He also called when the work was completed with instructions for keeping the machine in good running condition. Excellent Service!

+ -1 moreRykar is an unusual brand and the model I have is very outdated. He knew the machine right away. I had to trust that he would get it working again. He replaced a part that would normally be difficult to find. Sure enough the part was in his stock. He also taught me about the best techniques to use on the machine.
Description of Work: Mike fixed my old Rykar machine.

+ -1 moreI needed my machine done in just a couple of days. I was leaving for a summer long vacation and wanted to take my machine along. He usually keeps it about a week and then returns it to the location where you had dropped it off in town. He made special exceptions for me and my circumstances. I dropped my machine off at his shop and was able to pick it up in just a few days. When i picked up my machine Mark told me several things I could do to keep it running smoothly and made suggestions of items I needed.
Description of Work: My machine was cleaned and "tuned up". All the settings were tested and adjusted if needed. I purchased the extended maintenance package with included checkups and adjustments for a year.
