+ -1 moreThey had actually done some previous work for my wife. They had to take the limb off back to the tree itself. They took care of all the debris, ground it up and took it away with them. This company did a great job of cleaning up afterwards. It went very well overall. They got here at the appointed time and started work right away. They had a full crew so that there was none of this stuff piling up. There was one man up in the bucket doing the cutting. He would bring the stuff down to two guys on the ground and they ground it up. Pieces too big to ground were taken back to the truck.
Description of Work: I used Bailey's Tree Service to take a big overhanging limb, about 12 inches in diameter, off a big elm tree.

+ -1 moreRobert Bailey always comes out quickly after I call him, to survey the work to be done and give me an estimate. He does this even after all the years he has worked for me. He tells me when he will be able to do the work and, on the rare occasions when he couldn't come on that day (for weather reasons or another urgent job) he has always called to let me know and explain why he can't be there. He and his crew arrive promptly and go to work carefully. I have extensive, prized landscapes and I have been pleased at how careful and skilled they are to fell trees with very minimal damage (sometimes a little damage is unavoidable, depending on where a tree has fallen). Watching them take down an 80 -foot tree, lowering it section by section, is an amazing sight. Robert Bailey has always been honest with me and reliable. He and his crew are respectful and courteous. He prices the job fairly and reasonably. I have never had a reason to be displeased with his work.
Description of Work: Robert Bailey and his crew have been removing trees on my large property every year for almost 10 years. He has removed large trees from fairly deep in the woods to very near the house and in the midst of landscaped areas. Some were still standing and required a careful system of pulleys and a climber to bring them down, section by section. Others had fallen in storms and had to be pulled out of ponds or removed from the woods. He has always done a very careful job, resulting in minimal damage to the surrounding area, even in very difficult conditions. After the 2010-11 ice and wind storms he removed 25 fallen trees; this past year he removed 9; other years it might have been 2-6.
