He listened carefully and unhurriedly to my description of the project, double checked to be sure he understood my wants correctly and made helpful suggestions that helped me choose optionsthat I was unsure of. There is absolutely no pressure sell techniques with Josué, no attempt up-sell the project. He is a true professional who takes pride in his work and his reputation. And he does great work, using excellent lumber (number 1 pressure treated) and materials. He and his crew were respectful and always pleasant. Josué was always on site, doing the vast majority of the construction work himself. He kept me informed of his schedule and progress. The price for the job was very reasonable, considering the quality of lumber he used. I recommend this company wholeheartedly without hesitation.

Top Choice Renovations recently replaced my wood front porch with new, no-maintenance columns and railings, and I am extremely happy with the quality of their work and how seamless the process was. Josue was very thorough in explaining the different options for replacing the rotting wood columns. I had considered just replacing the damaged wood. However, the estimate to replace the entire porch, with no-maintenance materials, was reasonable when compared to the cost of just replacing the rotted parts of the porch with new wood. Josue provided me with photos of porches he had previously completed, so that I could see how the finished porch would look. He showed up on time to perform the work and cleaned up and hauled away all debris. I highly recommend using Top Choice if you need to have any porch or deck work performed.

We recently relocated to Raleigh from HK and not surprisingly find ourselves in the midst of any number of home improvement projects. One of these was the replacement of our back patio deck. After much deliberation and interviewing a half dozen folks, we elected to retain top choice and josue to put in a new natural wood deck. A few thoughts - extremely professional- the courtship process can be quite involved and we had no fewer than a dozen exchanges over a few weeks with Josue. He was always puntual and comprehensive with his responses. - these guys work hard. Weâ re out at our place for 5 or 6 days straight (weather permitting) from 7-8 am to 7pm. Even worked over both days on a weekend. - meticulous and detail oriented. While Iâ m sure just about anybody can knock down an old deck itâ s the reconstruction that weâ re all interested in. Top choice and josue are unparalleled on their attention to detail and ensuring that the project was done right! - heâ s not the cheapest but his price is unquestionably fair. Have absolutely no hesitation in recommending to choice and Josue for a deck project. They treat your home like their own which in my book is about the best form of validation you can have! I just hope I can find more stuff for them to do!

Josue is absolutely amazing. He arrives when he says he will and keeps you posted on all phases of the project and doesn't make assumptions. The worksite is cleaned daily and organized. He uses mostly battery operated tools so there are no cables, wires, etc. all over the place for anyone to trip over and you hardly notice he is working unless you hear a saw. Speaking of the work, it is the most precision carpentry I have ever witnessed and he takes great pride in this precision and accuracy. He is also very code and safety minded so if you are making repairs to sell your house, don't worry about your inspection. I am exceedingly pleased with the work, the kindness and the attitude of Josue Amaya. We will hire him again and we have already recommended him to others.

My deck was 20 years old and need some repairs and staining. à  I called Top Choice to get an estimate. à  They responded promptly and came out to see what was needed. à  They pointed out some problems that I wasn't aware of. à  They promptly provided me with an estimate to repair and stain my deck. à  They also provided a quote to replace my deck boards with TREX. à  I decided to go with the TREX option. The Top Choice team, Douglas, Josue, and Davie, were great. à  They were professional and polite. à  They kept me informed of what would be done and when it would be done. à  The final product was outstanding! à  I highly recommend them!
