Tar Heel Basement Systems

The work was fantastic. We bought this home in early March and the crawl space needed some major attention. Tar Heel Basements were extremely thorough from start to finished. Everyone was very communicative and punctual. Omar, Zack Yon, and Daniel Jones did phenomenal work. The finished product is so impressive. Daniel made sure to walk me through everything once complete so I knew everything that was done and what to be aware of. I cannot recommend their work enough.

On time, great communication, excellent follow up when there were questions or modifications needed. Not the cheapest but fair price.

Zack Mitchell, Nyles and David did a good job installing push piers along one side of my house. Before the work, the foundation wall was out of plumb by an inch. Afterwards one part of the wall was plumb while another section was only approximately 3/8" out of plumb. Overall, I'm happy. I have piece of mind this portion of the footing/foundation wall is stabilized. If there are any problems I know Tar Heel will comeback out to make any adjustments.

Crew showed up on time, explained what they would do and timeline things would get done. They did a great job, cleaned up after themselves. They were very professional. I couldn’t be happier.

THB never resolved the problem I asked them to resolve. Essentially I paid $2600.00 for nothing.

I wasn’t able to get into my crawl space for a few months after they finished and found areas near my air handler and furnace blocked...

This company came out to give us a free estimate on my aunt’s house. I was impressed from the first phone call. The gentleman who came out was very knowledgeable, professional, and friendly. We thought the pricing was very reasonable as well. We however decided not to have the work done. I’m sure they would have done a fantastic job though.

It went well and they were very professional. The work was done well and the crawl space looks fantastic. We had some scheduling issues because they found a baby snake in the crawlspace so it had to be dealt with but they came back at the next available date.

I have rain water undermining the driveway near my attached garage. I reasoned that pumping a supporting substance would not only fill in the "undermined soil", the substance forced in under pressure would also support the concrete driveway. The inspector informed me that my theory would not work and that what I needed was pea gravel inserted into the hole created by the drainage. He seemed quite competent and I accepted his assessment. It was refreshing to have a candid answer rather than "we can do it" even though the attempt would not have solved my issue
