Description of Work: We have a service contract so they are here every year to service and maintain our systems. Excellent service and they call ahead to set up appointments. We have the same service man so he is familiar with our systems and previous conditions. Very happy with everything about our contract with J & J Mechanical.

Description of Work: They’ve done air conditioning and heating work.

Description of Work: Dual capacitor replaced on the outside condensing unit.

Description of Work: I needed to have a charge put in my heat pump. The J&J mechanical company truck was at a neighbors home. I asked them if they could put a charge in my heat pump while they where there. When I asked the price of the 1 pound charge for the heat pump and I was told $100. The employee added one pound of freon to the heat pump and when he handed me the bill it was for $180.00. I told him that he quoted me the price of $100. He told me that the $80 was for the travel to the job. When I stated that he was already here and he told me to call the office. I spoke with the company they told me that they needed $180 to complete the job. I insisted that they missimformed me and to add an additional $80 was totally rediculous. I only paid the $100 and they not only sent me a bill for the remaining $80 but a late fee for the $80. I would recomend that no one in North Carolina ever have J&J Mechanical work on a heat pump. They lie and totally rip off the customers. They do not seem to care about being fair or a reputable dealer.

Description of Work: J & J installed our heating and AC in our new construction home. They also installed all our natural gas lines and 6 gas appliances.
