On the advice of the Duke Energy website we called Brady Flanary when our ancient and outdated HVAC system died. We promptly met with a representative who by days end had gotten us an estimate and the promise of loaner window units so we had at least some A/C. We signed the proposal (as did the rep) and offered a deposit. We were told that no money was needed until work was complete. It might be up to 2 weeks before they could begin due to work already being done for other homeowners. That was Tuesday 9/18 On Friday the 21st the head of one of the work crews came to re measure the house and talked extensively with my husband regarding what they would be doing and possible duct changes to the original plan. That night at 630 pm, when we could not contact any other companies, we received a call from our original rep. He hemmed and hawed and gave next to no information but finally under questioning admitted he was calling to cancel our contract. When pressed for a reason he hinted at our parrots (vaccinated and enclosed in one room that needed only a new diffuser) then at our dogs (with their own room for containment when work is being done that has its own heat and air) and finally informed me that he did not know the reason... that the work crew head and the company president had met behind closed doors for quite some time, then come out and told him to call and cancel. He refused to let me speak to either one, refused to take my message (saying they would not return my call) and asked for their loaner window units returned. When I mentioned that we needed to know the reason in case it was something we could fix to get another company to do the work his only answer was he was sorry. Due to the late hour we asked to keep the window units until Monday to secure replacements and he agreed. I did require him to sign for their pick up Monday as by that point I had zero faith in the integrity of this company. Although I have a signed contract at this point I would not allow them in my house. Proceed with caution if you decide to engage Brady Flanery.

They had to replace a part that was getting close to malfunction. You do not have to check after them and they will tell you what they're doing and how come they're doing it and how it effects the overall system and what you can do to make the system work better for you and our particular circumstance. They send one technician and it takes 45 minutes, they leave the area clean.

The service and installation was great.

We were price shopping for a new HVAC unit. They came and explained that what we were looking for was a new construction meaning putting a whole new system in the attic and removing the old from the basement. They even gave us advice on brands, companies and questions we would need to ask amother company.

Turn around time from initial call until they arrived was under 1 hour. Very professional. Diagnosed problem quickly and had parts on the truck to fix it.

Everything they have done for us has been great. We bought this house in July of 2013. The owner of the house had a propane furnace installed in 2011. They were the ones that installed it. That's how I got to use them. I've been well satisfied with everything they have done.

I've been using them for at least five to six years. They are very dependable and on time. My daughter used them also to get a heat pump. We've been happy with them and we would recommend them.

When we had our semi annual service call in April, I discussed with the tech Phillip about upgrading the old a/c unit and also get some relief from the cost of propane. He suggested that since the a/c unit was so old that I we upgrade to a heat pump and keep the propane furnace for back up. I called the Brady Flanary office and Patrick Brownlee set up a consult appointment. When he arrived at the house he discovered that he had done all of the load calculations for the propane furnace a couple of years ago when it was installed. No changes to the structure had been made so all of his information was still good. The next day I received the cost to upgrade and we scheduled to install on June 5, 2014. He also sold us materials to insulate the lines off the trunk that had never been insulated. I had the experience to accomplish this part of the job and I think they were happy to have me do it since the duct work was in the floor joists in the basement. On June 3rd, Patrick called and informed me that his crews were a day ahead of schedule could we let them come on the 4th instead of the 5th. This was a good surprise, the crew arrived as scheduled a day early, Patrick was there long enough to line out the project and the work began. The last crewman left about 4:30. I walked through the basement and it was all cleaned up and the outside area was as well. They had to take a section of fence out which worked to my advantage as I was able to put a gate in so the unit could be worked on without scaling a 7 foot wall. Having moved to the area last year and not knowing anyone I called Brady Flanary because they had put the furnace in. We have had 2 preventative maintenance service calls since being here. I did not have any other contractors give me a price because this one was in reason and it just made sense to keep the same company. When we received the bill there was a discount included if it was paid in full in 10 days. I had never had this happen before. We drove to their office to take care of the bill. We were greeted by Patiences and the professionalism continued as we discussed the work and the payment. While there I had the opportunity to talk with Phillip our service tech. He was happy to hear that we took his advice on the system changeout. I have noticed that with the recirculating function of the fan the a/c does not come on very often and the house stays comfortable. The thermostat is set on 80. I think we can do this because of the fan coming on periodically. We will continue to use Brady Flanary for our service to be done semi annually. I do tell our friends about this fine company.

They did an excellant job and were extremely polite and professional. I would recommend them to anyone if asked.

Philip was the technician. He arrived in the scheduled time window. He was very professional - he put up with my dog who barks constantly.

This is the 2nd time I have had service done. We purchased the house in July 2013. The heating unit was installed in 10/2011 by Brady Flanary. It is a propane unit. The A/C unit was installed in 2006 but we don't know who did the work. We had the service done on the heating unit in 10/2013. Our tech on that call was Philip, since he was familiar with the system I requested him for the A/C spring check. I knew Philip paid attention to detail when he said the basement was cleaned up and we had lights installed. We had only been in the house 3 1/2 months at the first call so the basement was not high on the cleanup list and in a 1650 sq foot basement there were about 6 incandescent bulbs. Now you can see the floor and we had seven 8' fluorescent lights installed. In the course of conversation I mentioned the price of propane for the winter which was more than the total electric bill for an entire year. We had 4 fill ups for the winter. I asked for a recommendation. Philip said the most economical would be a heat pump and keep the propane furnace for back up. Having worked for a mechanical contractor I was not groping out of the darkness for an answer, he gave me the answer I was looking for. Next week we have a rep from Brady Flanary will be here next week to give us an estimate for a heat pump. We are very satisfied with this company from the scheduling call with their scheduler Patience and the service call with Philip. He called back to schedule the estimator while still at our house.

Everything was wonderful. We started using them a few years ago when our heat went out when it was below 0, they had someone out immediately. For the last 3 years we have been using them. They are always here when they say they will be. They are always very polite and extremely clean. I can't say enough positive things about them. They are also always happy to answer any questions that we have. I highly recommend them to anyone. They definitely go above and beyond anything I could have ever imagined.

Brady Flannery was the third and highest bid we took on this job. their ratings on Angie's list and the professionalism of the representative swayed us. The house is about 1,000 sq ft and all of them treat it as if it were as important as any job they had. The company and it's representatives were competent, friendly and respectful. The workers were clean, careful, respectful of everything including the dogs. They were personable and trustworthy people. I found their work to be of very high craftsmanship carried out with pride. We are pleased and willing to pay the higher price for the value and the quality we have in the work and the system.

Brady Flanary HVAC Inc are good. They keep up with me well by calling me when it's time, they answer any questions that I have, and attend to any problems I have but I don't have any problems.

I had three different HVAC companies come to do an evaluation and give me an estimate. Brady-Flanary worked with me to minimize the space that was needed to install the new HVAC system and made a recommendation totally different than the two, previous companies. I liked what I heard and felt confident that I was being given an honest evaluation and estimated cost. Brady-Flanary gave me two (2) different options for installation of the central air/heating system. I chose the better (2 different Trane units/ systems) option to guarantee comfort in every room of my home. Both Trane HVAC units were installed within a week. I left the door to my home open when I went to work so the men could come in and work. When I returned home in the evening, the work crew was usually gone and there was never any 'mess' left behind. When the men were still working in my house when I returned home from work, the men were courteous and respectful. Since installation, Brady-Flanary has let me know when they are having their bi-annual discounted preventative maintenance service offers and I have taken advantage of it each time to save. These people are Honest, Pleasant, Reliable and Hard workers. Every room in my house is comfortable - summer or winter.

They are very professional and did an excellent job providing quotes and sticking to the quotes. They offered 0% financing for 12 months for the installation of the Mr. Slim system. They have all in all, exceptional service.

He is wonderful. He is very trustworthy and efficient. He knows what he is talking and he his job well. He is also cost efficient. He is not one of the people who comes first to make the money he really wants to help to make the job done for a good price.
