Shorefire Gas Fireplaces

Solved problem by adding another hole in burner tube adjacent to pilot light.

Andy of Shoreline had to reroute the gas line, install a new shutoff value and fittings in order accomodate the new stove's counterspace and enable it to slide back close to the wall. Then he converted the range and oven to propane from natural gas,changed all of the gas heads to enable this conversion. Additionally, both the broiler and baking elements pilots had to be checked and elements adjusted for optimum performance. I selected Shoreline for this installation because I was familiar with Andy's work on my gas fireplace which was done last winter. Andy's work was done professionally, efficiently, and safely..the new range and oven works beautifully as has my fireplace over the past months.

I called on Friday 10/25/2013, to have my gas logs cleaned and serviced after I was unable to get them to light. Knowing that many people waited until their heat was needed to have their furnace serviced, I told Andy at Shorefire Gas Fireplaces that my call was not urgent. I asked him to just work me into his schedule after people calling that needed their primary heat working. He said it would most likely be on Monday or Tuesday before he would be able to schedule me, but he would call as soon as he could schedule a service for me. Andy called on Saturday, 10/26/2013 and asked if he could come by because he was finishing a job in the neighborhood and had an opening in his schedule. I was out of town so he said he would call again on Monday morning when he was setting his schedule. I received a call from Andy again on Monday morning at 08:50 and he asked if one of his service technicians could come by in twenty minutes. The service technician, I failed to get his name, arrived right at 09:10. He was polite and professional. He went right to work. It took him about thirty minutes to disassemble my gas logs, clean the burners, relight the pilot, check that the remote and thermostat was working properly, and put everything back together. This is the second time I have had my gas logs cleaned and serviced by ShoreFire. The first time was in 2010. Both times they were quick and professional. I have been pleased with their service and will use them again.
