well I think it went great as I stated before the good the whole overhead the insulation in my garage and and the ceiling in my den which I didn't even think of there was extra insulation so they put it over the den because the master bedroom was straight above it I thought that was great.
Description of Work: I remodeled my downstairs in made three quarters of it A den A bathroom and bedroom. the rest was made into a garage on the garage part they hung the sheet rock and put a slick finish on it and I must say it looks pretty darn good for a garage they hung the rest of the downstairs and finished it with a knockdown they look greatthe kind of threw me off by getting your two days earlyI had to finish the insulation in the garage but they went ahead and hung it all just so they can hang sheetrock which I thought was great and there's no extra charge

Contractor did show up for work however he did not cover my floors() prepped for hardwood) when spraying knockdown texture. This created an enormous mess to clean up. His crew did not show to scrape floors when asked to do so. I spent time doing it myself. They did not take out their own trash. I had to do this too! Here is the kicker.... I was given a proposal for $19527.46. at the end of the job he gave ma a bill for $2880.00 additionally! He said he miscalculated the job! Originally, he calculated 476 boards...now he is trying to charge me for 540 boards! Funny that i had two extra large containers for of large cut up drywall pieces(40 cu yards!!). This cost me $1000.00 to haul off! Since my family used to be in the drywall business, I have an inside secret....the guys are paid by the board ...so they can cut up and use as many boards as they wish as long as their boss is not a good manager. It is funny that the "boss" called my before the job started to tell me that he recalculated the job as well as one other employee of his to confirm that the job was indeed 476 boards! Then, I get the add on at the end. Also, the areas of "slick finish" look awful..ripples, drags, etc....just sloppy work! So if you add up all of the issues, he should owe me money for having to fix his bad work myself as well as clean up after him. Dont use this guy!!
