Ben kept saying he was coming, but kept making excuses, putting me off and changing the date. When he came, it was almost dark and he saved me for last each time. He removed two pieces of rotted wood over my front porch stoop, only replaced one piece and if I'm not mistaken, I supplied it, he installed a 4' piece of new gutter and the pitch is extreme for 4' and the amount of water that goes to that gutter, The metal he used came from the roll we bought, he moved some siding from the house and did not put it back right and you can see it plainly, he damaged existing wood and trim from the underside when he removed the rotted wood, he left twice and took a very long time to return, the estimate was for $150 and it turned into $325 and it took him less time than to wrap my window that he charged $75 for, (we paid him $100 for the box of wrap for all the windows also), he brought a friend with him when he came back on Christmas Eve 2013, who didn't do anything and didn't even seem like he knew how to do things, and he was bugging him openly about getting paid for Christmas and that's probably why he charged more. I contacted him back because the water was still leaking when it rained, and I provided pictures and video. He did come back, but it wasn't quickly and he put me off a lot and made excuses, as he did when I tried to get him to wrap the window that needed it asap, and every time I needed him to come back. All he did was smother the inside of the gutter with more caulk. I saved most texts and all emails that we exchanged for all work and questions. The gutter appeared to still be leaking and I sent more video and pictures and kept trying to get him to come back here and look at it. After rescheduling numerous times and making excuses, he finally came...sometime in April or May of 2015...almost a year and a half later. He couldn't figure it out so he had a roofing friend come over and he found that what we keep seeing has to do with the roof. The last time he was here, his phone rang and the ringtone said, "an idiot is calling". I commented and he stated that it was a customer he didn't want to speak with and that's what he uses. I expect I have that ringtone because he never answered when I called and would get back with me days later. When he left the last time, he stated that he didn't do gutters anyway. He was mostly professional in his speaking, but that wasn't. He plainly told me he could do it and his website says he does anything. He did wrap the window nicely, but there's no way I was planning to give him any more money, so I did not use Triad Home Pro for the other 8 windows. He treated me and my boyfriend poorly, took advantage of our friendliness in my opinion, caused more unsightly problems with existing structures, was not timely, did not use his time efficiently and rescheduled a lot, and I simply cannot recommend Ben's company for anything except worry and headache. And I realize he is trying to make a living; however, he supplied a 4' piece of gutter, an end cap and caulk, and of course, his time, took him two visits, though the actual time it took was minimal, to do the work, and really took advantage of us and I don't believe that makes good business sense if you expect to keep business.
Description of Work: Removed rotted wood and replaced gutter. in January 2014, he wrapped one window.

I was very clear with Ben (the owner) that we expected him and 2-3 more guys on site everyday from 9-5. There is just too much that needs to get done without it turning into a month to two month project. Anyway, we quickly discovered that you can't believe anything he says. He says he'll be there at 9; he's there at 11. He says he'll be there in the afternoon; he doesn't show up all. He said he was having a bad week and to give him until the end of week 2 and week 2 went much like week 1. Ben was there for day 1 and a second time when he actually had 4 people there are made good progress, but then it was back to two. We made it very clear that during week2 (in which he was going to have full crews there to "bang out" a lot of the work) we needed the bedrooms finished since school starts this week. Once the bedrooms were floored, the kids would at least have a place to sleep and we could move furniture into those rooms so the kitchen\living room could be done. I.e. Live up to your word and have the people there to get it done you say you will. I set very clear expectations and time and time again, he ignored them. I tried to work with him and gave the guy multiple chances to correct things, but he chose not to. We finally had to cut our losses. The two guys that were there regularly (Tom and Jeremy), did good work and were extremely professional and courteous and this review in no way reflects on them of their body of work. There's only so much two guys can get done in a day. A third guy Ben would bring with him as a laborer was (self-admittedly) not experienced and managed to tear up\make holes in more than one wall while removing the old trim, as well as bending a curtain rod. Remove it or at least have the decency to tell me, "Hey I bent this rod...sorry." As if only getting a weeks worth of work done wasn't bad enough, he then thinks we owe him for half of his estimated price with only 1/4 of the work done. Sorry pal, but 1 week of work taking 2 weeks due to lack of manpower does not equal more labor costs from me. Out of quite a long list of projects, several were started to some degree and none were finished completely by the time we let him go. After the fact we found he is not accredited with the BBB and currently has an F rating for failure to respond to customer complaint...sounds all too familiar. Stay away from this guy unless you have a non-occupied dwelling and all the time in the world to get it done. He talks a lot about truth and honesty, but the owner obviously doesn't understand what either of those words mean.
Description of Work: Hired to complete several projects both inside and outside the home. Priority was inside - wall cabinets hung and stained, new flooring\subflooring, trim throughout, replace vanity and flooring in master bath, replace tub\vanity\flooring in second bathroom.
