It was fine. What stood out the most about the experience was they provided detailed report at the end. The cost was fair. They were very responsive.

Tony the owner was very professional and easy to discuss options with since our problem was not quite the norm. He developed a solution that we think will be the best for our particular water problems, and his price seemed fair for the work he did. He was very careful around my garden plants and made sure the work had as little impact on the landscaping and lawn as possible. Other than the fact that his first message sent to me went into my Junk Mail so I did not receive his written estimate it for over a week, he responded as soon as I checked back with him, he came as soon as weather and his schedule permitted, and he finished the work in less than one day with one helper. I would highly recommend this company!

Work was completed in 2 days. They broke the floor up, dug the trench and installed a French drain and sump pump. They then resealed the floor. They left everything as it was before they started, We were very pleased with the work they did.

Tony was professional and knowledgeable, and suggested a range of options for improving the condition of the crawl space, which we subsequently had them perform. However, I was somewhat disappointed with the inspection overall, since it was supposed to include inspection of the basement and the exterior drainage, and he did not inspect the basement at all, and only looked at areas on the exterior that I brought to his attention.

Tony and his crew did an excellent job. He was very easy to work with, upfront about everything, and very knowledgable about how to waterproof crawlspaces. We've been having issues with water in our crawlspace and I didn't know what to do about it. I had another company look at it and they just wanted to encapsulate the whole thing without actually addressing the issue of why water was coming in there in the first place. Tony explained the reasons why water was getting in there and gave a quote that was cheaper than the other guy (and that made more sense), which actually sounded like it was going to fix the problem. They fogged the crawl space to kill mold spores, wiped down all the rafters, installed french drains around the perimeter of the crawl space, drilled holes in the lower foundational blocks to relieve water that was pooling in the blocks (which drained into the french drains). The drains were then routed to a sump pump they installed. They then sealed the entire crawls space using insulation and a heavy duty and high quality vapor barrier. After that they installed piping in the front of the house to route water that was pooling there around to the side. Tony and his crew were very nice and punctual for the 3 days that it took them to do the install. We requested that when they fogged the house, they do it at 9am to coordinate with my wife's schedule, and they did so without issue. After the job was finished he came back out to my house to ensure I was happy with it. They left my house in better condition than when they arrived and I commented to my wife that the crawl space looked clean enough to sleep in. I would definitely recommend this company to anybody who needs similar work done.

I Bought the coupon special because i had dampness in the crawl space under my house.He called and we made appointment for him to come out and check the problem.He came out and checked drainage around the house.He told me that the rain needed to move away from the house.We agreed upon the drainage system with pop up on most of the drains to let the water out. The date for the work to be done was a mix up due to a misunderstanding.Mr. Ferguson rescheduled to fit my schedule.He came with his workers and completed the job to my satisfaction in a timely matter.

Men involved were very professional and courteous at all times. They came when they said they would, and used their time well while they were here. They left the site clean. The new pump works well...quietly and efficiently! My neighbor has already observed their work and used their services!

Tony is great to work with. We were having other work done at the house so scheduling his crew was a juggling act but Tony was always willing to do whatever it took to work with the general contractor. Work was described in detail and executed according to the proposal. Grass is growing where his crew sowed and so far the end result is what we wanted - no water in the basement or crawl space. I would highly recommend Soggy Bottom Waterproofing in the future.

Although I didn't have the installation done by Soggy Bottom, Tony's quote seemed reasonable and he was very knowledgeable and informative on the procedures that I needed to cure my water problem in my basement.

He observed visually and felt for wetness on the carpet in all areas of the basement. Also assessed the areas that previously had water problems, for any present problems. He went outside to determine the likelihood of whether the basement should really have water leakage problems. He observed the backyard french drain also. With all the info he had at hand he decided the basement did not have any leaks but just ordinary basement humidity.

These guys are great. Reasonably priced, efficient, courteous, friendly, and did an excellent job in a small amount of time. They removed a partial wooden floor, which I had installed over the concrete myself several years ago, because the floor had deteriorated from the water flow underneath it. My basement has no outside entrance so almost all excess material had to be tossed out the basement window for clean up. They also had to remove part of the steps into the basement and tossed it out the window. Next step was to break up to concrete floor and install the french drain, pipes etc. and sump pump. Also installed a vapor barrier and wallboard along back and partial side of walls. When finished the basement looked the best it has looked since I have live here. All this was finished within a 3 day period and all debris was hauled off. Thank you so much Tony and Chris.

We were very pleased with the price, quality of work and professionalism of Mr. Ferguson and his employees/contractors. They finished the job in 2 days and were prompt each morning. They constantly communicated what they were doing and where they were on the project. We ended up have some significant electrical work done to install the sump pump and dehumidifier and were not charged a dime for any of the electrical work. We would definitely recommend Soggy Bottom Waterproofing to our friends and family.
