Samuel has been cutting my half acre lawn every 2 weeks since August 2016, when I first contacted him on Angie's List. What impressed me most about Samuel was that he came out within 24 hours of first contacting him (in the middle of a rain storm), listened to my concerns about previous landscapers, and has been nothing but professional and reliable ever since then. His crew not only does a good job of mowing and trimming, but they clean up afterwards (like you never knew they were there). This was one of my major complaints about previous landscapers in that they would leave grass clippings in the flower beds (my wife hated this, after she worked hard planting her flowers). I would recommend Samuel and his crew without hesitation to anyone looking for professional and reliable lawn services.

His performance was beyond the pleasing point. He is very professional, introduce himself and gave me a good price for the amount of work that needed to be done and the best part he did it the same day in less than 2 hours. Prompt, efficient, responsible and clean yes clean. He cleaned everything!!! I totally recommend Samuels Landscaping Services!

Their service was excellent, fast and clean. They are superb and always on time.

We needed immediate help with someone to mow and maintain our lawn since our regular lawn servicer had family health issues, and could no longer service us. I called Samuel on Tuesday evening and he said he would be out the next morning to give me a quote. He texted me when he was on his way and showed up as promised with his crew. We agreed on a price for weekly service (very reasonable) and they mowed our lawn right away! Now that's service! Was much needed, as it had been a couple of weeks since it had last been mowed. Samuel is very professional and does great work. My husband says the lawn looks like a golf course after the yard is cut (he loves golf). I like that they also have the option of weeding the beds! He is prompt and comes generally at the same time every week and texts me if he will need to come a different day due to weather. There is no contract needed and I'm able to pay every other week by check. He also does odd jobs in the yard. We needed some brush cleared and he was able to take care of that too, along with trimming and removing some limbs and vines. Samuel does a fantastic job- I dont think I'll ever do yard work again.

Samuel's Lawn care came every other week. They did a great job maintaining our lawn care while we were out of town.

Samuel was very responsive and communicative. He came out to give me an estimate within 24 hours of asking for it. We planned a day but got rained out for a week. He called me during that time to assure me I was next on the list as soon as the rain cleared. He came out on a Saturday to work. All work was done with excellence and he stayed within the estimate. If I weren't moving, I would use him again.

I found the company in the Yellow pages online under Samuel Lawn Service. I hired them in August to cut my grass, and remove leaves, they did a good job the first three times and were reasonable in price. But then I hired them to seed and plug my lawn 1/2 acre for $350.00. They damaged my sewer access line which stick sup about 6 inches, and made of iron. He cut it off and it fell into the sewer pipes and clogged my sewer drainage until it overflowed into my home unexpectedly. Samuel never told me he damaged the pipe in the front lawn, I happened to see it at night when I was doing laundry, the detergent was bubbling up on the grass in my front lawn in December, three months after they damaged it. I had to call Winston Salem Water and Sewer to cap off the pipe. Two weeks later still in December, I was doing laundry and water backed up into bath tubs, toilets, washing machine drainage pipes, called a plumber then called Winston salem Water and Sewer and they had to clean and flush the pipes out.
