They came out and gave any estimate when they said they would and the work was done on the scheduled. We heard about them from our membership with Costco for garage door installation, but would definitely use them again for the professional service.

The tech. was punctual.He identified the problem as a broken spring and repaired it successfully.I have used this company on a previous occasion and found them to be excellent.I would highly recommend them.

Gave us a quote on Monday, which was the best of three we received for nearly identical doors with opener. The door was a basic, white, non-insulated door. Installed two days later. Couldn't ask for better combination of price, quality and service!

I called Piedmont Garage Doors on Monday Jan. 7th.They scheduled my repair for Wed Jan. 9th between 8-12.They called that morning around 8:00 and said they were on the way.The tech. arrived about 8:15.They were very professional and repaired my garage door in about 20 minutes.I was very satisfied with their service and would use them again.

Overall I was very pleased with the experience. The quality of the work was good and the price was very reasonable. The only criticism would be that the installer did not know exactly what the salesman and I agreed on, which I anticipated. He didn't know that I was going to use the old window inserts and started to install new ones. He also did not have the piece of molding that needed to be replaced and had to return the next day to finish the job. However I don't consider that a big deal. The job was completed successfully and I would certainly use them again.

Chris was the person that scheduled the appointment and he was very polite and worked with my schedule. Ed the repairman called when he was on his way and completed the job in the time frame that I needed. He was very professional and I would definately call or refer them to anyone.

The service was good when they arrived. They had canceled the appt. on their books and did not come until I called. Rescheduled the same day.

I would recommend them. First of all, the doors that they carry are made by a local company, which I like. They came when they were supposed to come. They gave me the lower Costco price when I told them I was a member, without making go down to the store.The doors look beautiful and are really quiet. I considered buying some extra accessories, but they told me they probably weren't necessary and encouraged me to wait. They said they'd be happy to come back if I wanted the accessories after all.

They did a good job. They took the time to explain everything to me and it has worked fine since.

They came early and didn't take too long. He checked out everything on my garage doors. He was familiar with my neighborhood so he could easily tell what was wrong with my doors. He was very polite and nice. He explained everything to me. He was very professional.

Very impressed with the prompt response. Arrived early for the estimate appointment. However, they did call us first to make sure it would be OK. The estimate was very detailed in the work that needed to be done and we were provided a detailed estimate of the exact doors and openers to be installed and the individual cost for each. They did honor the discount offered through Angie's List. On the day of installation, workman arrived right on time. He worked diligently taking down 2 doors and 2 openers. He then installed 2 new doors and 2 openers. He also installed a safety cable on an existing door. Will call these folks again if I need assistance with garage door and/or garage door openers.

It was repaired in less than an hour and has worked great since. And with the Angie's List discount cost less than I would have expected.

A vehicle crashed through one of our garage doors. We had only owned the home for a few weeks. My wife was in NC and I had not yet moved from PA to NC. I was 400 miles away and knew no one, so I used Angie's List to find a garage door company. John from Piedmont Garage Doors came out and was very helpful. John disabled the motor so what was left of the door could not be raised to cause further damage; this also helped secure the house. John made recomendations as to the type of doors to use and explained everything in great detail. The damaged door was replaced first; it was done quickly . The second door was replaced at a later date; due to it's size it had to be special ordered. John again came through again making sure to get the infomation correct so that the door could be made correctly the first time. The second door was installed by Chris and operates perfectly. Much to my surprise Chris was just finishing up when John showed up to make sure that everything was done correctly. I have not encountered many sales reps that do this. Piedmont Garage Door, John and Chris, did a great job.

Bill came out to give an estimate, was fair and polite, no pushy selling. We agreed on a door and I gave him a deposit. An installer came out 1.5 weeks later and completed the job in 3 hours. The company was in the process of physically moving their location so this may have normally taken less time to schedule installation. It was a good experience.

Wonderful! He fixed it quickly, gave it a tune-up...it works better than it has in years. I used my Angies List coupon and it was the best $50 I've spent in a while! Quick and professional...I'd recommend to anyone.

I was late for an event and when I got in my car and pushed the garage door remote, the door went halfway up and then started making a loud grinding noise. Once I got out and pushed the button to stop the motor from grinding, I noticed white flakes falling onto my roof from the opener. After a moment of panic, I saw that I could disconnect the door completely from the opener and use the door manually. As soon as I got home, I went straight to Angieslist. A quick search pointed me to this company -- great ratings and a great coupon offer. When I called first thing Monday morning, Roger was very professional and got me set up with an appointment for the next day. The repairman, Ed, was about an hour behind schedule, but he went right to work and pretty quickly had me back in business. He showed me the bill ($128), and I showed him my Angieslist coupon. He went back and recalculated and presented me with the final bill for $87 -- a 32% savings! Thank you, Piedmont Garage Door and Angieslist!!!

They were good. The work was a fair price. They delivered the work appropriately. The sales guy was competent and the installer was very good. It looked like he did a good job.
