+ -1 moreAHHH-MAZING. These gals work HARD. They got here at 3pm today and they are still here at 7pm busting tail and making everything sparkle like the top of the Chrysler building. They are efficient, without sacrificing quality. I have never seen my place so clean. I would absolutely definitely 100% certainly hire them again!!! Thank you SO MUCH for such a great service! I am SO glad to have found you!!!

+ 0 moreI was impressed with their prompt response and willing accommodation for my last minute request - Margaret assembled a team to tackle a big job on a day they do not normally work. She kept in touch as I traveled to North Carolina and adjusted her schedule to meet my needs. At the last minute I had to cancel the job because the house was in far worse condition than anticipated. There were days of clearing out required before any cleaning up could be done. Had I been able to stay longer, Maid To Please would have been my first choice for cleaning. As it was, I had to turn over the rest of the work to a realtor to finish. Based on the professional approach and the gracious accommodation of my unique requirements, I highly recommend this company.

Description of Work: I contacted Margaret at Maid To Please a couple of weeks before Christmas 2016. I needed a 3 bedroom single family home cleaned top to bottom. The renters had moved out leaving the home in a complete state of filth. It had been 11 days before the abandonment of the home was discovered and food had been left to spoil in the refrigerator. It was such a filthy mess throughout the entire home, I wasn’t sure she’d accept the job. I arranged to meet her at the home so she could take a good look around and we walked through every room discussing what needed to be done. To my delight, she accepted the job. Let me say right off the bat that the $650 charge was worth every dollar. Every single room of this house was completely filthy. It was disgusting. I was embarrassed to even ask another person to do a job I wasn’t willing to do myself even though it was not I who made the mess. Not only did she accept the job, she told me she and her team could complete it before the end of December. I was stunned that such a big mess could be completed in that short of a time period. Her commitment to get it done before the end of December meant an $800 savings on my end because the house could be turned back over to the landlord by January 1st so no more rent would be due. Margaret and her team met the deadline of December 30 she had set for them. I had to go out of state for 7 days during the clean up time. The house was empty, so Margaret and her team let themselves in and out as their schedule allowed. She coordinated with me as needed through text messages while I was out of state. After my walk through with Margaret, I felt completely confident they would hold up their end of the bargain and enjoyed my Christmas vacation in peace. I cannot express in mere words the level of filth these ladies had to remedy with this cleanup. I was absolutely amazed at the incredible job they did. The toilet in one of the bathrooms had so much mineral buildup from hard water and also from simply not being cleaned on a regular basis, I was sure it could not be cleaned and a new toilet would have to be purchased to replace it. I was shocked to see a perfectly clean toilet bowl that looked brand new. I’ve never seen anything like it. Margaret and her team did an outstanding job with this house. They cleaned from the ceiling to the floor; walls, baseboards, floors, vacuuming, oven, inside and outside of all appliances; ceiling fans; blinds; windows; dusting built in furniture; they did a superb job throughout the entire house. The kitchen and one of the bathrooms were really filthy and the worst part but they pulled it off and they looked perfect! They had that place ready to rent to the next tenants within a very short time. I could not recommend them more highly. I found Margaret to be professional, personable, friendly, honest, and straightforward. If I ever need any type of cleaning done, Margaret at Maid To Please is my first and only choice. Thank you, Margaret! You and your team really saved the day for me!

+ -1 moreThere were TWO MAJOR problems. I made a point to tell the incharge person with the three person crew NOT to leave water on the brown grout. (I had just paid $400.00 to have the grout redone a few weeks prior.) Instead, they left water on the grout and when it dried on its own, the water left white spots on the grout. They covered up the problem with a throw rug. They "ran out of time" and DID NOT clean the KITCHEN FLOOR! What is more basic in housecleaning than to include the kitchen floor?

+ -1 moreMaid to Please performed an outstanding job. The owner, Ms. Staton, was on site at all times with her employees, and worked as hard as anybody. They are a very conscientious company, and all of their employees are friendly, courteous, and professional. They brought all of their equipment with them. Maid to Please was on time and on schedule. And I gave them very little notice that I needed their services, but they made their services available to me. Maid to Please spent a great deal of time ensuring that I was happy with the work, and they were very attentive to details. Also, Maid to Please was very flexible...I needed the use of one of the structures they were cleaning, so they altered their work plan to accommodate my need. I really appreciated that. When they were done, the houses simply sparkled from top to bottom!
Description of Work: I needed two large houses that had been neglected for quite some time to be professionally and thoroughly cleaned. Work to be done included the cleaning of bathrooms, kitchens, inside all shelves and counters, as well as extensive cleaning of floors.

+ -1 moreThey were very accommodating. They tell me, on the deal, that there is going to be two people and they came in with four people. I don't think four people clean your house properly. I walked into the room and one woman was sitting there just wiping a lamp shade with a dry paper towel. The woman, Margaret that owned it, had her stuff together and was cleaning like crazy. She had a couple of people with her. There were four people in the house and I did not like that. She was fine. I felt like one of them was just a body there. So essentially, I didn't get the time I paid for. It was perfectly a reasonable cost. The woman was so nice. One of the women was just literally slow and just didn't really know what to do. Ultimately, they did an okay job. The woman that owns it was professional. I would use them again and I'll tell her that I wanted two people and I didn't want four people in my house cleaning.
Description of Work: I purchased a big deal from them. It was $75 for three hours of housecleaning and 10% of next appointment.

+ -1 moreI wasn't satisfied with their service. They were professional. I would use them if their prices were good. I would tell them to do specific things that I need them to do. After they came in, I had a handyman come in the next day and his wife was with him. His wife does the same thing and his wife was walking around. She asked if I had people in here cleaning. I said yes, and she pointed out things to me that I did not notice such as why didn't they get the cobwebs off the ceiling or why didn't they sweep the baseboards? I have a kitchen counter and they didn't even wipe the walls down until the kitchen counter. It had all kinds of stains. I didn't really pay attention to those things. They didn't clean out my kitchen sink. My kitchen sink had a bright stain of something and I could understand if they couldn't get it out, but it looked like they didn't even attempt to clean. They cleaned on top of the microwave, but they didn't clean inside -- it had grease and oil. I didn't pay attention to all that. They cleaned my stove and refrigerator, but they could have done a better job of cleaning other things. When I was calling her I needed the service ASAP because I had my niece coming in. I waited a day and half for them to come in. I get that they are busy, and I understand that their current clients take priority but they need to let me know. They asked me for the date that I wanted them to come and I gave the date. But the next day she called me at 5 o'clock and said that she is busy and would reschedule the next day.

+ -1 moreLet me first say, I am a perfectionist and when I take the time to hire a professional-- I expect exceptional service. Thankfully, I found just that with Maid to Please. Words cannot describe how FANTASTIC my home looks after Margaret and her team did their magic. I have tried other maid services in the past and my home has never looked this good. I have old hardwood floors and several animals so it is impossible for me to keep them clean. I don't know what they did, but my floors look brand new-- I can never get them to look like that with my amateur cleaning methods. Margaret was wonderful to work with and very professional. The team arrived right on time and wasted no time getting to work. I am very pleased and will definitely call them again for a future house cleaning.

I have hardwood floors throughout my house and they did not do a good job on them all times they were there. There were four of them each time and not always the same people. I prefer having the same person each time who remembers what I want done or don't need done each week.

+ -1 moreI gave up on cleaning services several years ago after two experiences with different companies that did sloppy work, missed dusting or mopping entire areas, and employed workers who were surly or indifferent at best. I called Margaret to see if I could get a team to come within 24-48 hours because we were having friends and family for a visitation after a funeral. The house was not messy but desperately needed a thorough cleaning. She re-arranged her schedule and came the next day. She came with one helper, but another team also came after they finished their job, resulting in a total of 5 women working in my house. They spent about 6 hours, did not waste a minute, and finished well after dark. Margaret walked around with me afterward to be sure I was satisfied with their work. After several days of looking around and noticing the details, I am very pleased. They caught details that I had not mentioned when Margaret asked what I wanted done. They were pleasant and professional. Even my husband noticed what a great job they had done. I will definitely call them again.
