Well, Lee was great. He arrived early, completed the inspection and had a report to us later that day! My family and I could not be more pleased with Lee Boyd as our home inspector. He was professional and kind from the first phone call until the day of getting the final report. When I called Mr. Boyd and he could not answer his phone, he returned my phone calls very quickly and answered all my questions with a pleasant tone. On the day of the inspection Mr. Boyd arrived early and had already prepped all his equipment, and unloaded his truck. He explained the process to me and ensured me that he inspects every home as if it was his own. This statement rang true by his attention to detail and the enthusiasm he displayed to me during the inspection.While Mr. Boyd inspected he welcomed me to shadow him as he checked the house. During the inspection I had to run some errands, so I told Mr. Boyd that I needed to step out. He told me when he would be finished and I returned at that hour. Not only was he finished when I returned, he had his presentation ready. Using his laptop computer, Mr. Boyd showed me photographs he took of all the issues he saw in the home. Mr. Boyd pointed out all the good, bad, and the ugly. He was very clear and concise in his explanations of his findings, answered my questions, and made great suggestions for how to fix the issues that he saw. After giving his presentation I paid Mr. Boyd by credit card, but he said that he could accept any form of payment (card, cash, check). Later the evening he sent me his full detailed report via email. The report blew me away. Mr. Boyd's report consisted of 48 pages. The report was broken down into the sections of the home, each section represented by a letter and each issue was numbered (Ex. A-Structural A2-1 Front Porch). Every issue described in the report had a photograph(s) to represent the issue along with at least a paragraph explanation of the problem with Mr. Boyd's suggestion of how to fix it. I will absolutely hire Mr. Boyd in the future if I need another home inspection. I don't think I could be anymore pleased and I will gladly recommend him to anyone I know that is in need of these services.

Excellent!!! As a first time homeowner I was very pleased with Lee and his work. He is meticulous in what he does and leaves no stone unturned. His inspection report was amazingly thorough and he took the time to speak with me afterwards, walking through several issues, answering all my questions. I would use Lee again and recommend him 100%. Worth the cost because I walked away with peace of mind.

Where can I start...Lee is great at what he does. I needed Lee to inspect a potential property I was interested in. Not only was he on time and very professional, but he had the report to me within hours after the inspection. Lee is very knowledgeable and reasonably priced. He prioritized my repairs, so now I know what to act on first. There is a no miss, only win scenario with Lee. I highly recommend him; I will be using his service again.

Lee went through the house that my wife and I were in the process of purchasing and found a few issues that we would not of caught on our own. He did a great job and was very detailed in every way. Lee is wonderful!!!! From beginning to end, his clear communication and professionalism were apparent. We appreciate the time, expertise, and thoroughness that he invests in the inspection. Upon receipt of the report (and even as he was doing the inspection), we were confident that all the systems and building issues had been reviewed. Lee's expert commentary and photographs provide a strong base from which to then discuss next steps with the seller.

Lee was amazing. First off we were in a great hurry to get our inspection done very quickly because of some delays on the seller's end of things. We set up an original appointment and then Lee called back when he had an unexpected cancellation. I met Lee at the house, showed him around and then left him to do the inspection which he said would take about 2-3 hours. Lee was extremely detailed. He was unable to go on the roof because it was such a steep slope but had a pair of binoculars to make sure he was still able to evaluate everything. After the inspection he was kind enough to stick around for an extra hour and walk us through his initial findings which through up several red flags about the property. Lee also gives the option to do Radon testing but due to the red flags he already found that day said he would be willing to come out another time and do that test if we did decide to move forward. Lee typed up an extremely detailed report and emailed in to us with in 48 hours. Finally, Lee was extremely responsive and answered questions in the days following as well as gave some recommendations for trust worthy companies who could look into issues further. In the end we were not able to work out an agreement with the seller to get some major repairs dealt with so I would say that Lee helped us avoid a lemon of a house. Thanks Lee for your detailed report and excellent customer service. It was not easy letting go of a house we pictured our family moving into but your information ultimately helped us to make the decision with confidence and not sacrifice our family's safety.

Lee was very prompt in returning phone calls and very courteous and helpful in answering all of my questions regarding a home inspection. I was very impressed by his professionalism in recommending someone who could perform the inspection for us while he was on vacation, and still offered to answer any questions we had even with another inspector.

Lee was a consummate professional from beginning to end. We were in constant communication throughout the process and he provided the services as promised. His report was thorough and very informative. He walked me through each step that we needed to complete, and provided the report as promised in the timeframe he promised. We will definitely use him in the future for all home inspections.

Mr. Boyd was great, he arrived prior to the appointment time and was working when we arrived at the property. He inspected the home to the best of his ability. He was thorough, and explained everything as he worked and went over all the photos and findings with us before we left the property that day. He said he would email the full inspection report that night and it was mailed to us that evening. Very professional and we appreciate the inspection.

We hired Lee to perform an inspection and radon test for a house we are buying. He was recommended to us by our Realtor and she told us he is very thorough in his inspections. Lee did not disappoint - he spent about 4 hours with us at the house looking at everything. He went in the crawl space to check for drainage issues and/or water damage and he put on coveralls and special shoes for that part of the inspection. Then before going into the house he changed shoes so as not to track any dirt into the house, which I appreciated. He checked out the roof with binoculars to look for missing/cracked shingles, tested pretty much every outlet in the house, tested all of the drains and plumbing fixtures, etc. He also set up the radon test (charcoal packets hanging in the family room) before leaving and the packets were supposed to be there undisturbed for three days to get the most accurate reading. We found out a few days later that a contractor who had come to the house to do a termite inspection had left the door to the garage open, and that air coming in can skew the radon test results. Lee came back out the next day and reset the test for no charge. Finally, if Lee finds anything wrong as he's doing the inspection he takes photos of the issue/problem area. Those photos were then included in the 35 page inspection report we received from him via email the night after the inspection. Lee is very thorough in documenting things, so the inspection report includes everything from issues that need to be addressed immediately (ex. missing shingles) to items that aren't as critical but could be fixed at some point (ex. peeling/damaged weather stripping on a door). Overall the whole process of working with Lee was fantastic and I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a home inspector.
