They are great!

Expensive and the overall results were disappointing. Paid $200 for aeration and seeding and other than fixing a few bare spots, the lawn looked the same. They provide a so called satisfaction guarantee which just means that if you call them and complain they will just came back to your house and do the same thing again. Unfortunately if it didn't work the first time, it is unlikely that it will work again. Also had them do a few treatments but the lawn stayed full of weeds. These lawn treatment programs are a waste of money. Avoid at all cost.

I called GrowinGreen after struggling for years with some trouble areas in my yard. At this point they have aerated and overseeded. In addition they applied fungicide to address the annual die-off that I've been seeing. There were some areas that did not germinate with the first seeding. They came back the day after I called and applied more seed. I've been very impressed with their responsiveness, professionalism and willingness to work out payment terms. I'm hopeful that things will look good next Spring - and survive through the Greensboro summer!

They killed all the weeds, and I have grass where I didn't have it before. I recommend them. Their prices and quality of work are excellent. Anytime I call them with a question, they call me back. I'll continue to use their services in the future.

They are fantastic and we like them because they are quick and efficient. They call us a day before they come to make sure we have the dogs inside. Their customer service is exceptional. They do a nice job and all the people who work for them are nice too. We have a yearly contract with them; though they are expensive they are worth it. Our overall experience with them has been good.

My husband picked GrowinGreen Because he like them. And they also show concern for animals because they take the time to care, and tell me not to let the dog's out for a period of time. We will keep using them in the future.

In the spring of 2011, I had nearly given up on trying to have a healthy looking lawn. My last resort was to use a fertilization company. I searched Angie's List, and GrowinGreen had great recommendations. Their price seemed to be in the ballpark of other lawn fertilization companies, so I thought I'd try them for a year. Their evaluation of my lawn concluded that I had just caught it in time, and that it might take a full year to get it in decent shape. They were careful to set my expectations at a reasonable goal since I had missed the prime seeding season in the fall. Their strategy was to fertilize, kill weeds slowly (so as not to create bare patches in the lawn), and seed in the fall. Now that it's been 9 months since they started, I can say that I am very pleased with the results. Even before seeding in the fall, my lawn was definitely much improved. My weeds were under control (nearly completely gone), and the lawn was nicely green and healthy. After seeding, I watered nearly every day, about 30 minutes at each section of lawn. Since my soil has a lot of clay, it's very hard, so I had to water more. The results now, even in January 2012, is a very healthy looking green lawn. I opted to continue with fescue grass, so the lawn continues to look green even in the winter months. I'm very happy with the results!

My experiences with them have been very positive overall. They are really clear about what they are going to do and they are usually punctual. They call in advance a day before because I have a dog, which I appreciate. I would use them again.

I tried the a regimen myself last year, but hardly saw any change in the lawn. I spread lime, fertilized (with weed prevention), and seeded (albeit in the spring rather than the fall), but my results were hardly noticeable. My lawn was in fairly bad shape by this spring. It was green, but only because more than half of the growth was weeds, including a lot of clover and other ground cover. I was told that it would take a year to see significant improvement, but I saw much improvement (greening of the grass and yellowing of the weeds) in just two weeks. Since the second treatment - a fungicide - I see steady and continuing improvement. I understand the the dramatic change will be in the fall and next spring, when the seeding fills in the spots where the weeds were, but I'm very happy with the results so far. The lawn is thickening already, in less than 6 weeks.

Refused to give references, other than commercial accounts (but didn't want to give tel. nos. and person's name to contact at those accounts). Claimed "privacy" reasons on residential customers. Another company readily provided references (including one that wasn't too favorable), and I hired that company anyway because of their straight forward approach to business and even though higher priced. Growin Green seemed annoyed at being asked about specific work that wasn't on estimate, e.g. de-thatching and indicated I should do it myself. Very slow in returning phone call after estimate.

They have provded an excellent service for three years. Our lawn looks gorgous, and we receive regular compliments from neighbors and sales people that come knocking on our door.

This company is very easy to work with. They come on a regular basis, usually once a week. They are very accommodating if we need them sooner. They're responsive and professional, as well. Our yard looks so nice since we've been using them. We have no complaints.
