Mark and his team did this work incorrectly and promised to repair it. However, Mark, Carolina Solutions, and Southland Custom Builders have not kept their word and will not return phone calls, emails, or texts with substantive information. Mark and his team started work in July. They removed our door, ripped up floor boards, and replaced the rotten wood underneath. However, they ordered the wrong door and installed it incorrectly. After a month it became very difficult to open and close. They replaced the hardwoods, but sanded them poorly, mismatched the color, and damaged the finish on a portion of hardwoods in adjoining rooms. They also dripped stain on the carpet that is on the stairs near the area. Mark Revels and his team left the house a mess. Mark personally promised to put up drop cloths during the work to ensure that dust would not get all over our house. This is especially important because my wife has asthma. We made sure Mark knew this before the work started. However, they failed to put up drop cloths, and as a result, we spent several days removing sawdust from our home. In addition, they damaged the walls and ceiling of our basement while repairing the rotted wood beneath our door. With regards to our stoop, instead of chipping out the existing stoop and rebuilding it as promised, Mark?s team layered concrete on top of the existing concrete. After two attempts, the drainage issue is still not solved. In August, Mark Revels promised to fix all of these issues. It is now November. We know from a former employee that our door was ordered and received by Soutland Custom Builders / Carolina Solutions ERS. However, Mark will not communicate with us and the work remains undone.
