JAN'S PAINTING SERVICE

Excellent! They started promptly on Monday morning and finished today, Friday. We are thrilled with the results It looks like a brand new house! They did a beautiful and careful job and were a pleasure to have in our home. She has worked for us in the past, we were happy, and she did not disappoint!

They have been excellent. The really good part about them was attention to detail in terms of work. They could have improved better in scheduling. If there is a need, I would use them again in the future too.

She's very good. I liked that she was prompt and very clean.

It went extremely well. Their work is very neat, thorough, and carefully done. Jan was extremely helpful in selecting colors. She and her crew are wonderful to have around; I can hardly wait to have them return in the spring to do our interior. She came highly recommended by several families in our neighborhood and they were 100% right!

After a lot of dialogue of explaining what our expectations were, Jan had us under the impression she could meet our special needs which were to not damage our window seals. I explained to Jan that window warranties are null and void if a pressure washer is used to clean the windows. When Jan and her crew came out, they used a pressure washer on it's lowest setting to clean the windows. The bleach solution they used was very strong and bleach water was entering the house. Her partner leaned a ladder against our domed window above our front door. I'd asked them not to do that because the weight of the ladder would break the seal. The man helping her did not like being told this and informed me he'd been painting for XYZ years. After they left, a front window had a hole in it and needs to be replaced. I don't have any definitive cause and effect but it was right after they cleaned it that it starting condensing. I asked them just to paint the facia/soffit after feeling very uncomfortable with the way they handled themselves. The original job was for the entire exterior of the house. When they left, they did not put things back in their place such as furniture and planters. Also a 2 foot area of the facia/soffit was not painted.

Jan came to start work within just a few days of my call, did exactly what she said she would and even more by suggesting areas I hadnt thought of to repair and improve. She and her helper were precisely on time, very clean, did excellent prep work and I couldnt be happier!

She was excellent. She did good work and her prices were fairly reasonable. She cleaned up after herself very well.

Jan's Painting Service did an excellent job. They were really good at painting. The clean up was great. They paid a lot of attention to detail. The crew was very professional and easy to deal with. I would use their service again in the future if needed.

They did a really good job. I was referred to her from my boss. They came out and gave me an estimate that day. They only took a couple of days to finish the job. They cleaned up everything when they were done. The quality of their work was very good. Her crew is very professional.

Excellent work. Jan provided a quote and set a schedule to do the work. There were several extremely hot days that shortened the work day but Jan advised us of the change in schedule and finished the work in a short amount of time. Jan provided a personal approach to the work and even helped us pick the colors. We were not sure of the selection at first but when the job was done we love it!!! Jan and her crew did very professional work and were open to feedback concerning the work. There were very few minor issues pointed out that Jan and her crew responded to quickly. A very enjoyable experience. Thanks Jan for the great work.

They were willing to go the extra mile for me. They installed some lights for me. The price was a little high, but I would use them again in the future and would recommend to others.

Remodeling work was finished and Jan's crew was able to start painting the following day. Within 3 days, the painting was finished. They did a great job.

Jan and two male painters expected to be at the house at 9 or 9:30 on a Friday. They arrived closer to 10 am. At that point, Jan left the two painters at our home while she went to buy breakfast for the three of them. The painting was done in quick order- in fact, the painters took numerous smoking breaks outside of our home and were still finished within just a few hours. They did just one coat. Also, they helped themselves to a leisurely tour of our entire yard. None of the work they were hired for that day was outdoors. Meanwhile, over the weekend, we realized that some of the water damage had not been sealed and so was back . When I spoke with Jan on Tuesday and told her about this, she told me I could either fix it myself or wait until they came out to do the (unscheduled) window washing and pressure washing. We chose to fix it ourselves. As a result, the original quote was higher than the final charge. We sent the check in the next days' mail run. Overall, I spoke with Jan five times in the eight business days following work completion. In the final conversation, which was five business days following our discussion of the uncompleted sealing/painting, and four business days after I sent the check, she indicated that I had a limited time before we must set up a face-to-face meeting somewhere in the middle between Charlotte and Kannapolis with the entire amount in cash!!! Bottom Line: First: The work was not completed- that is, the water damage remained- and we were not happy with that. Her discounting helped some but then we just had to complete it ourselves- not why we hired a painter in the first place! Based on our overall experience, I do not intend to schedule this company for any further work. Second: While Jan is just trying to run her business efficiently, I felt that it became a question of my character and frankly, there was just not enough time elapsed overall (and significant communication throughout) for this to have even been on the radar.

Jan and her co-worker, John, did a great job. I was able to get in touch with Jan quickly for an estimate. I had gotten 3 other estimates, but Jan had the best combination of price, schedule, and quality. They worked hard and did a really nice job. They were professional and efficient, and I would definitely use them in the future.

An excellent experience. She gave me an initial quote. As the job progressed, I asked for additional work, primarily the concrete block, which she added. She began work about a week after the initial estimate, and was prompt and efficient. Complete cleanup afterwards.

They did a great job. Jan is a pleasure to work with, and is very professional and thorough. She returned all calls promptly, came to do the estimate and scheduled work days on time and answered all of our questions. I highly recommend her.

Jan was unbelievable. Not only cat she paint, she picked out the colors and I love them! I hired her again later to do some additional painting.

SHE WENT OUT OF HER WAY TO MAKE SURE THE JOB WAS DONE TO MY SATISFACTION, AND WITH HER YEARS OF EXPERIENCE HELPED GUIDE ME IN COLOR CHOICES THAT WERE RIGHT FOR ME. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND HER, AND WILL DEFINITELY USE HER AGAIN FOR FUTURE NEEDS. SHE DOES INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR PAINTING.
