Description of Work: Did a great job cleaning out my garage! They were very professional and delivered on everything they promised.

Description of Work: The provider confirmed and arrived on time. From there everything went down hill. I had 3 interior doors that needed sealing and initially he said there was nothing he could do. When I threatened to cancel and get my money back, he played with the locking mechanism which worked only for a couple of weeks. No new weatherstripping per the ad. He was more interested in selling additional services, but I politely declined. Then he checked the exterior windows for recaulking, and he said none needed it. This is a 13 y/o house where the windows have never been recaulked. Of course this was after I declined any additional services. So the total value for $199 was 3 exterior doors where the seal lasted less than 2 weeks. No new weatherstripping or caulked windows per the ad. I feel completely ripped off!

Description of Work: The guys from Environmental Services were professional and polite. Fixed my dryer vent issue (saved me from having to buy a new dryer!) and cleaned up my laundry area before leaving. They also fixed a problem with my electric oven heating element (again, saved me the cost of a new stove!). These fellas were great and I'd use them again in a minute.

Description of Work: It has been awhile since this service was provided and I have declined writing a review repeatedly as I have nothing positive to say, but since Angie's list keeps pestering me here's my experience. The guys were great -- professional, punctual and spent close to 2 hours at the residence. The only problem ---- it had absolutely no effect whatsoever from my perspective as far as being beneficial. As was the situation before, within 2 weeks of cleaning the home I still have a layer of dust on everything deep enough that you can write your name in it. I attribute this to the builder not covering the ducts or perhaps running the units without filters during construction. For me it amounted to a waste of about $200. I had read that this type of service has very limited benefit and is of use in cleaning mold from systems if there is a known problem. I had no mold so i was cautious and after several years decided to try the service out of frustration. As I previously noted it was a waste of money in my situation and I now know not to ever do it again. I have since had my blower box cleaned when I had my AC/Heating units serviced and it provided no visible benefit as well. The debris is apparently still in the duct system. I have owned quite a few homes over the course of a lifetime and this is a first for me. |
