Description of Work: Power washed the deck to get it clean then came back a few days later when scheduled and put on a clear coat to protect. Thought they could have put a heavier coat of sealant but it came out OK.

Description of Work: It all comes down to the fine print. I had told them that I had a one car garage before they were scheduled to come. I asked about them moving an old refrigerator into a trailer that had been set up outside the garage. That was it except the other stuff in the garage which I moved out twice (once was due to rain and the other was their cancellation). When the workers got there, he made mention that it was going to cost me an additional $100 to take care of this single car garage because it was a storage area and not a "garage". I helped move all the stuff out and put the stuff back in. And it isn't a PACKED garage. Sports equipment & misc things. I paid them the extra $100 but according to their deal, they were suppose to clean the corners, garage door & windows of the garage and they did none of that. |There were still plenty of cobwebs left on everything that they were suppose to clean. The pressure washing was nice to have but not worth the $259. I could hire a handyman next time and they would do a better job.

They |told me the length to the outside vent was further than the length "allowed" by the sale price, so they charged me extra for the added length to the vent. In the future, I would just confirm the price before they begin.

Description of Work: I purchased a promotion for $165 to clean Air Duct System plus 10'of Dryer Vent line. They arrived and went to work immediately, showing and explaining to me exactly what was being done. They found black mold in several vents, cleaned it out but explained that was just what was visible. I am allergic to mold so felt the additional cost of $195 to treat my entire system was money well spent. The added $40 was for the extra four feet of Dryer Vent line ($10/foot). | |Both Josh and Cameron were very professional, worked quickly and efficiently yet took the necessary time to answer my questions and show me exactly what they were doing. Description of Work: The $149 Vapor Barrier Installation and Free Crawl Space Inspection offer was actually the technician never entering the crawl space but insisting he had to go around the back of the house to measure. He emerged from the fenced yard by jumping over the fence and coming out of my neighbor's yard by his garage. He then gave me an estimate of $889. I asked him to leave.

Description of Work: This job was scheduled about a month after ECS offered an Angie's List special of $199 for 200 square feet of deck restoration. The ECS crew (Josh and Dave) arrived on time and quickly priced the cost of the remaining deck, stairs and lattice work. They also provided a detailed cost breakout for an additional stain application. After starting the pressure washing we jointly inspected the work and determined that a stain was not needed. Due to the lateness of the hour, ECS indicated that the deck would not dry in time to apply sealer, so Dave returned the next morning and completed the work in a few hours. We also asked ECS to perform a dryer vent cleaning while they were there at a cost of $70, which is reflected in the cost of service stated above. This cost also included a 3% upcharge for the use of a credit card. So, the cost of service to wash and seal the additional 728 square feet of deck, railings, stairs and lattice work was $1,150. We are pleased with the quality of the workmanship and the professionalism of the ECS team. We've used them in the past for HVAC duct cleaning and certainly expect to use them again in the future.

Description of Work: They came with a truck and hauled away a full load of junk. I actually under estimated the amount of the junk but they managed to get everything in the truck and worked very patiently with me.

Description of Work: Big deal was for pressure washing and sealing 200 sqft for $199. My deck is 400 sqft and I upgraded to a stain which meant an adjustment of $640. The work was high quality and the deck is indisputably restored.
