CARPET CONNECTION

We shopped several stores and they had the best price by far. Danny was great to work with. We had to move our install dates several times because of our contractor delays and Danny was very understanding. The flooring looks great and we could not be happier with the entire experience.

Simple and great experience.

Outstanding.

There were slight gaps between some planks that I noticed during install. When I questioned this, the work crew said this was for shrinkage/expansion of the flooring. Over the change of seasons these gaps got noticeably larger, as much as 1/8 inch. Juney Jung had his crew come back out in August to take pictures. The crew said that something was wrong with the flooring and that Juney would be in touch. I have repeatedly called and left messages for Juney. He has only returned a couple of calls. Last Friday he said he would be out today to look at the floor. He was a no call/no show. Juney has stated that he has not received warranty paperwork from his distributor. I have talked to the manufacturer's representative, who states that the distributor can not get Juney to call him back. I am thoroughly frustrated with the service and lack of follow up.

The person I spoke with was not very friendly and did not seem interested in doing the job. I asked her if they provided the service and she stated that they did. I asked her to schedule a visit and she said she would check and call me back. I never heard from anyone.

They did excellent work. I would highly recommend me.

The installers were prompt and professional the entire four days they were in our home. They did an excellent job . The floors look beautiful and the attention to detail on the finishing work is outstanding. They moved the larger pieces of furniture that we couldn't remove and they replaced the furniture in the location we desired when the job was completed. They cleaned up after themselves daily and were pleasant and professional when dealing with my wife about how we wanted the tiles installed. They also returned at the beginning of December to install carpeting in our two remaining bedrooms and again they were prompt, professional and neat. The project coordinator, Sue Taylor, was constantly in touch with us to make sure we were satisfied. Her attention to detail was a large reason the whole project flowed so easily. We will definitely be returning to Carpet Connection for flooring when the time comes that we renovate our two bathrooms.

I worked with Danny and the customer service I received was excellent. He is friendly, professional, and follows through on what he says he will do. I needed the carpet installed in a short time frame due to the Christmas holiday. The other vendor I was working with could not ensure installation before Christmas and this was a top priority for our family. Carpet Connection exceeded our expectations by having the carpet installed on 12/16. In addition, the two men who installed our carpet arrived on time and did an excellent job protecting our new baseboards and freshly painted walls. They even cleaned up after themselves and vacuumed. I will definitely be using them in the future.

Everyone we talked with at the store was very professional and friendly. There was never any pressure to buy. They were more interested in understanding our need and our preferences. They responded quickly to all of our follow-on questions and were very courteous. The installation of the vinyl was exceptional. The installers definitely knew what they were doing and were very professional.

It was definitely time to recarpet our basement so we looked at local sales/installation companies to compare prices and get a feel for who we liked best. We looked at both chain home improvement stores and family owned businesses. We had a positive experience at Carpet Connection, but kept looking as educated consumers. There was no high pressure sales pitch but rather, explanations, answers and options to our many questions. We spent quite a bit of time looking around but came back to CC. We felt confident and comfortable with Danny the sales rep, and liked that it was a local family owned business that had been around for years. (We did get great service from Lowes as well but again wanted to support small, local business). We were replacing about 1500 square feet of space and needed pad where none had been before. The installers were professional, and did a great job. They answered my questions and they even encountered a glitch with the cement floor and solved it. The stairs were a bear too, but look great! I am a stickler for expecting a job done right and have high expectations. We had absolutely no complaints and will use them again in the future. The entire project took only 2 days because the installers worked to get it finished. Can't compliment them enough, the workmanship is great.

I called Juney and he came that very afternoon. We decided to replace all flooring (except the bathrooms). The home is approximately 1835 SF. We went to the Carpet Connection and selected our carpeting and kitchen flooring. Juney was wonderful. So helpful and gave us a very reasonable quote. They pulled up all the old flooring, hauled it away, put down a whole new floor in the kitchen, laundry room and half bath, and replaced it all with flooring we are so happy with... the whole experience was great.

Arrived on time, very professional, workers were from another company and did work in our house at the same time. Commented on the high quality of work on CARPET CONNECTION was doing.

Carpet Connection met or exceeded our expectations in every way.

It was an outstanding experience. The showroom has a great selection of products. Danny was extremely helpful. The installers were on time, neat and their work was outstanding. The product is beautiful and performs beyond our expectations.

They had very good customer service. They were above average for everything with their service.

Meausre and picking style was simple and painless. Installers were very good and cleaned up behind themselves. Also put down extra shoe mold at last min.

Nightmare. Started in Oct 2005, promised to be completed by Thanksgiving, still not completed in June 2006. Hardwoods were installed first and are filled with dings from all other vendors dropping tools etc. Fired original granite installer for poor product, cracks, grinding in the house and edges that did not match up. Burned kitchen cupboards during install, still to be replaced. Took 4 times and 2 months for granite to be completed, 2nd Vendor Gem Granite was superb, recommend. Carpet Connection installed shower that leaked after 5 months into the 2nd floor condo. New Shower looked 20 years old with leaking and detoriating grout. Did not seal shower properly. Was told shower repair would take two weeks, has been a month and a half. Ordered the wrong tiles on two occasions for repairs. Fired original installer, 2nd installer installed wrong tiles that did not match. Waiting on 3rd installer. CC agreed to pick up repair bills for painter for neighbors damage and our bathroom.

Junie was our sales person. He is also one of the owners of the business and is extremely knowledgeable about all of the different carpet choices and options. The price we paid was comparable to that we received from Lowes and Home Depot, but the service and knowledge of the brands and options was far superior to what we found at the chains. We are delighted with the work performed by the installers, Darrin and Hugo. They were extremely courteous and were careful with our furniture. As I mentioned, our home has many heavy pieces of furniture and an extremely large home gym. On our stairs, Carpet Connection bound the edges of the carpet for a better fit and finish. This option was not offered at the other stores we considered. We have had two minor requests for repair and Carpet Connection has been most accommodating and responsive. I'd most certainly use them again for other home projects.

FAST DEPENDABLE, FRIENDLY AND KNOWLEDGEABLE, ALL DESCRIBE CARPET CONNECTION. WITH AN IMPENDING MOVE TO DAVIDSON, I HAD TO DO IT ALL OVER THE PHONE. WE SPOKE DAILY, HE AND HIS REP SCOURED THE COAST LOOKING FOR WHAT I WANTED. CLEAN-UP COULD BE BETTER.
