Description of Work: Installed new Heat/AC unit and ducting. They were prompt on the day they were to come. Had it done in 2days. Cleaned up their mess. When we had problems with the unit on 2 different days we called them in the morning and they came back to check and repair the problem within a couple of hours.

+ -1 moreI called them early in the morning. They said they would be at my house between 3 and 4:00 that same afternoon. They also told me how much a service call would cost. They were on time. They asked for access to the thermostat to ensure it was working properly and to make sure it was turned on properly. They were respectful of my house and made sure their shoes were clean before entering. They removed the service covers on the outside unit and attached their analysis gauges. They found the unit was low on freon. While he recharged it, he asked when and if it had been serviced before. I told him it had been recharged 5 years ago. He said that was not abnormal. He said he could leak check the system for a small charge; but, doubted he would find anything. I thanked him and declined the leak check based on his recommendation. They reassembled the unit and it has worked perfectly since. The bill was exactly what I was expecting. Do allow them access to your house. Do answer their questions, it could help in the diagnosis process and save costs. Do trust their judgement to fix the problem. I have used them before and always been satisfied.
Description of Work: My heat pump was not working. It would run, but not heat or cool. They checked my thermostat. They checked the outside unit and found it to be low on freon. They recharged the unit. They asked if it had ever been serviced and when. The technician said recharging was normal every 3 to 5 years. He said that it should not need to be leak checked since it had been 5 years since the last time it was recharged. They checked to make sure the defrost cycle was working properly. They reassembled everything and it has worked fine ever since.
