This business failed to deliver purchased product and services. The Price Is Right Landscaping Design, Brian Standridge, was hired 5/18/2012 with an initial fee of $650 to remove old sod and replace it with new sod at my residence. 6/6/2012 Mr. Standridge arrived in a bobcat tractor, attempted to scrape half my back yard off, and left the job incomplete. The incomplete work resulted in an estimated $2,600-$2,700 worth of property damages. Mrs. Standridge contacted me by email on 6/7/2012 to explain the incomplete work was due to a death in the family. Meanwhile, no one else arrived to complete the work. Mr. Standridge agreed to arrive and complete the work 6/12/2012 and subsequently did not show and failed to return messages. Nearly a month has passed since service was paid for and agreed upon and I am now left with nearly 3,000 in damages to repair the unfinished job this company left. Update:Mr. Standridge stated he would refund my $650 and the payment would be in the mail as of today, 6/14/2012. I offered Mr. Standridge to leave the check with my banker to resolve the issue. He declined. There are several small claims against Brian Standridge, none of which he has made payment to, for incomplete services. I consulted with these plaintiffs who informed me they had a similar experience. They paid for services which were never rendered after a series of excuses from Mr. Standridge.

Description of Work: The services were to completely decoration of our front lawn and SOD the back yard. Cost was to be 6,500 total. A deposit of 1500 was given for supplies and once the first portion(we were breaking the project into different sections) was completed then the next portion was to be started. Brian Price cashed our check and skipped town. He cashed the check back in September, then had to go out of town for a family emergency. He remained in contact then once I told him I would take him to court in December he has since to answer our phone calls and has deleted his Voicemail. It no longer says Price is Right Landscape and design. The only thing that was done is some blocks put in the front yard. So in essence I paid 1500 for about 15 cinder blocks. The project is incomplete. They are completely unprofessional and have no respect for our troops(I am a Marine). I am still going to small claims court after I gave him the opportunity on two separate occasions to finish the project or give me a refund, OR at least have all the trees delivered so I can plant them. I have all the documentation, text messages and emails to prove he is a scam.
These guys came in and completely redid my flowerbeds, they provided great advice during the estimate, they really know their plants and what grows in this local area, but they also showed some knowledge of plants from other areas too. They gave me all the plants that i requested and then some. They also provide a service that is second to none if you are a parent of a child highly allergic to ants like i am. They treated the yard and literally within 48 hrs the ants were gone, they didnt move they were gone. They were very professional and really defeat their compitition in that area. I will continue to use this company in the future. Thanks again guys.
