Description of Work: I initially contacted another agency from Angies list; however, her refered me to Mr. Shivar. Within two days of calling Mr. Shivar he responded. We made arrangements for him to come out to my home to check out the flower beds I have and discussed relocation of plants, cleaning the beds, pruning bushes; providing hanging baskets, remulch beds and tinstall rellis for rose bushes. He gave me his initial estimate, which was less than half of Jacksons Landscaping. I again contacted Mr. Shivar and discussed changes to the original work requested, knowing that that was a change order and the price would go up. I waited a week for the returned estimate, and had to call him. He stated he was having trouble finding the type of edging I wanted. I refered him to Lowes where I had gotten it in the past. Waited another week for the final estimate and then we agreed to the work. Mr. Shivar is a hard worker. On day one he was on his hands and knees pulling up weeds and small pine trees from the flower beds. He started about 8:30 a.m. and worked until dark. I had a chance to meet his wife and son and must say that he has a fine family. The boy was well behaved and listened to his parents and played with my special needs daughter. His mother and I talked while her husband worked. The following day we went to a flower distributor and I picked out the additional plants I wanted planted in the yard. He loaded them up in his truck and I paid for them directly to the dealer. He planted all and then i paid for the work. In all, he worked one full day and a half. i asked for an invoice and he provided same by email showing me labor and material costs; although it was not detailed. He did show me detailed cost the day prior.
