We had used Morris Fence and Deck to build over 400ft. worth of privacy fencing in the past and paid about $5000 for that job, and the workmanship and quality were fantastic. Fast forward a few years and we asked for a quote for a pretty simple deck to span the back of our house 56'x12' and a small pergola. We were quoted $10,000 for the job. After pricing out all the materials, I think we'll just save ourselves $8000-9000, and just do it ourselves with the help of experienced friends. Everyone we spoke to about the price we were quoted told us his price was extremely over inflated. Will not be using this company in the future.

Outstanding! Mr. Morris and his crew were able to provide an estimate and start work on very short notice. We just just closed on the house and needed a fence for our dog (likes to be outside). They provided an estimate on Tuesday and started work on Thursday. Everything was measured, marked, wet-cement poured, and installed board-by-board. He used 4x6's for extra strength on the posts supporting the gates, and decorative hinges/latches. The work progressed quickly and we were kept informed during the whole process of when they were going to be working, weather delays, etc. Extremely pleased by the quality of work, speed of completion and professionalism. Another fencing company started a neighbors fence at the same time, but Mr. Morris finished our much larger fence three days before theirs was complete.

Taking into consideration that the guys who built our fence did so at probably one of the worst/coldest/wet time of the winter, and stuck with it even on weekends, we couldn't be more pleased with the quality of work performed. At times, I would peek out the windows while I was inside baking Christmas cookies for my kids and saw the men in the backyard sloshing around in my backyard when it was freezing and wet - I felt so guilty! The fence is of awesome quality, and even when my husband gave the guys bad information regarding our property survey and I had to call the "boss" to let him know - I felt I received great customer service!

I am very happy with Morris Constructions responsiveness to my issue since getting AL involved. Mr. Morris was honest with me and said he has been very busy. My ratings here have to do with the repair work. If I were to give an overall rating for my experience with Morris Construction…it would be a B. Thank-you Angie's List. We agreed to tear down our old fence to save some money. We contacted the company to get a start date so we knew when to have the fence torn down. We have two dogs, so it was very important the new fence get put up shortly after the old one was torn down. They have known this from the very first estimate. We were told that the work would start on Monday, May 17th, or Tuesday, May 18th. It did rain a day or two last week, but had plenty of dry days. We didn't receive a phone call, or any type of notification when the crew was unable to come to our home. We were told several times, several different dates and times they would be here, and they only showed up one time. It is now a week past the time they said that project would begin, and we only have 8-10 posts in the ground. They told my husband this morning that they'd be here by noon to work, and it is now nearly 2:00, and still, no one, no phone call, or anything. We've stressed over and over again the importance of the completion of the fence. If they don't come today, we plan to ask for a refund and will cancel the job. Very, very disappointed in the service we've received.
