+ 0 moreIf you have Jerry's Home Improvement give you an estimate of any kind and you live out of town, take the time to have a friend inspect the damages if you are unable to. I would not recommend this guy to anyone EVER! He gives the handyman business a BAD NAME!
Description of Work: My tenants reported that the bathroom ceiling was bubbling. The property managers contacted Jerry's Home Improvements to go the property and assess the damages and give an estimate for repairs. I received an estimate for $300.00 to "Repair nail pops in both bathrooms ceiling and paint ceilings”. I contacted Jerry the owner to discuss the damages and he told me that he had to remove the nails, repair the damaged sheet rock and repaint "BOTH" bathroom ceilings. I asked him did he have pictures of the damage and he replied yes, I asked him to e-mail them to me. I waited about 5 days and never received another call or pictures from Jerry. I decided to drive 325 miles to personally examine the damages. I arrived and found "ONE" nail pop in the master bathroom and the 2nd bathroom did NOT have any nail pops or damage. I went to lowes and purchased spackle which cost $4.58 to repair the damages and repainted an area of about 2 to 3 inches instead of the entire ceiling. Jerry is a crook and he tried to over charge me to a tune of about $295.00. A reputable company could have repaired the area for about $100.00 to $125.00, which I would have gladly paid. A reputable company would have instructed the tenants that the ONE nail pop was normal and didn’t require repairs and billed me for a $50.00 service call. I instructed the property managers to never allow this guy to set foot on my property again under any circumstances!

+ -1 moreHe still has work to do for me in the house and outside the house but everything has gone very smoothly. Prices are reasonable, he has his own tools and equipment and he cleans up after himself. i could not be more pleased with the work he has done and the way he has done it.
Description of Work: Repair of wooden supports under bay window; repair of door jamb and chair rails damaged by dogs; repair of holes in sheet rock damaged by dogs; placement of curtain holders.

+ 0 moreWe needed interior painting and tile work done in our rental property between tenants. Our property manager recommended Jerry Hardison at Jerry's Home Improvements in Jacksonville. After getting the estimate, I inquired at other companies and found his price to be competitive. So, as I had a recommendation from the property manager, I decided to go with him. He is a nice guy who did an excellent job in a timely manner. He painted the entire home's interior to include closets and all trim in a different color. In the middle of the painting, I asked him to put porcelein tile in one of the bathrooms. He did an excellent job with that as well. Everything is SO beautiful. It looks like a different house! I will be calling him again after the new tenants leave to tile the kitchen and breakfast room area. I truly think he could do anything I asked him to do.
Description of Work: Painted interior of 1800 sq ft home to include closets and trims. Tiled hall bathroom with porcelein tiles.
