Description of Work: Primered and re-stained back deck, pressure washed driveway and sidewalk, sanded, primered and painted exterior door to deck, touched up paint on front porch, touched up nail holes and imperfections throughout our 2-story house, painted all the baseboards and shoe mold downstairs, repaired and painted peeling laminate in kitchen and mstr bath, repainted crown molding on kitchen cabinets, U name it!

Description of Work: Pressured washed all exterior trim of the home and the back deck, and front porch including concrete, pressure washed the sidewalk for free. Patched and caulked all areas to be painted that needed repair and painted all exterior trim pieces, eaves, exterior doors, windows, and front and back porch.

Description of Work: Mr. Ockuly completed a pressure washing and interior/exterior paint job for us. Below is an overview of his work: Estimate: the estimate for the interior painting was slightly under the actual cost of the job. The exterior painting and pressure washing estimates were exact; Interior Painting: Mr. Ockuly painted a kitchen/breakfast room area, a stairwell, a foyer, and a long upstairs hallway. The prep work done was very tedious, but the final product came out great! It took a total of 3 working days to complete. Exterior Painting: the exterior painting was limited to 6 outdoor shutters. It was quickly done in a matter of about an hour or so, and it made the entire house pop. Pressure Washing: after numerous rain delays, the pressure washing job was finally done and took less than a day to complete. The work was done on a 2 story house with numerous tricky areas to reach. In addition he washed our outdoor shed and concrete pad for free. The price was less than what we had recently paid for other pressure washing jobs, but the work was just as well done. In regards to punctuality, Mr. Ockuly admits he's not a morning person, so I wasn't that surprised that he did not arrive as early as he stated. He works hard all day though, and takes very limited breaks on location.

Description of Work: Jeff Ockluy of J & O Painting and Pressure Washing was referred to us by the C&S paint store in Sneads Ferry, NC back in spring 2007. The home we purchased in Sneads Ferry had nail holes throughout, scuffs and dings on the walls, and pastel and neon paint in many of the rooms. We hired Jeff to patch, putty, and repaint the entire inside, and to paint the front door, front porch, and back deck. He also pressure washed the whole house and sidewalk. Best work I've ever seen! His painting is flawless and his prices are well worth it! At the time, I was a novice at hiring contractors, so at first I thought his prices were a bit high, but after talking with other painters with much less experience, I found they were charging close to the same price, but hadn't been in the field very long. We also hired Jeff a year or so later to pressure wash the house again (an annual thing that's needed when you're so close to the water) and to touch up the back deck. Great job as usual. Jeff is truly a "custom" painter. When you find a contractor that you trust and that always comes through with great work, you stick with them! Jeff is that guy! He shows up when he's supposed to, is neat and clean in his work and appearance, is polite, and above all does a fantastic job. You will not be disappointed! I wish we could find someone like Jeff in N. VA where we live now. And in fact, we were able to coax him up N. VA for about a week in June 2009, to clean up the terrible painting job we received on the house we bought in N. VA. What a difference in work!
