They didn’t just repair it, they returned it to a pristine Windows version that I had not seen for years, after another repairman had done only a lousy job. In fact, I suspect that the other repairman may have planted a Trojan Horse virus that the guys at Connecting Point removed. They did the work promptly and for just what they estimated the cost would be.
Description of Work: These guys are GOOD ! ! ! They recently repaired a virus-infected computer of mine.

I took my computer to them and they were very nice and very knowledgeable. When I left I knew what kind of computer I had and that it was going to continue having problems. I would use them again. The price was competitive to everybody else.
Description of Work: I went to Connecting Point Computer Center for computer repair.

I took my computer in on Tuesday. It would not boot up properly and displayed no programs. They started it and told me I had a virus that was erasing or blocking my disk. They estimated it would take 3 - 7 days to remove the virus and save whatever could be saved, and would cost $130 if successful and $60 if not. They called me this afternoon (Monday). Most of my pictures and music had been saved, but I will need to re-install many of my programs. They explained the nature of the virus and gave me tips on how to avoid getting it again. I have used this firm before. They are very professional and do good work. They are a small shop so sometimes it takes a while for them to get everything done, but their estimates of time and costs are very accurate.
