Clay's Fencing

At first the owner was punctual, polite and fair on his pricing. They had a delay on the fence due to weather which was not a big deal. On May 5th the post were set for the fence and then they returned on the 9th to complete the fence. The gentlemen told us if we need something to put under the two gates if our dogs started to dig to give the owner a call and they would come back to install them. Well, just after 2 months one of the gates started to tweak (bend/warp) to the point it is hard to open. Since we barely use this gate we though we should contact the owner to get it repaired. He told us we was in Leland NC and that he would contact us when he returned to the area. A week goes by and no phone call so we call him. He said call me on Wednesday and I will be able to tell you when we can stop by. We call him back as he told us too but had to leave a message. Of course he never called us back and our gate is still warped and we can hardly open it. Seemed like a great deal and a truly honest person when I first meet him but I can see it was only about the money and he does not pride himself on his workmanship. I highly DO NOT recommend this builder for fences or any other work without a contract of work, expectations, and some type of warranty for the project.
