Description of Work: They installed my security system in 2011 and I have already reported on the excellence of that service. January 16 2013 they came back to convert my system from transmitting via my landline to the call center to a wireless connection. It works fine and their charge was very reasonable. They were kind enough to waive the service charge (unasked) for the visit because of the excellent report I had submitted about them to Angie's List in 2011.

Description of Work: Jeff and John installed a burglar alarm system in my business. They are also the owners of the company. They came recommended by several of my friends in town, and I am happy that I chose them. They are friendly and easy to work with, they do a quick and professional job, at a fair price. You can't ask for more than that.

 + -1 moreThe estimate done 3/2/2011 was detailed and free. Installation was done on 3/7/2011 and was performed by John Melton, one of the two owners of the company, and two very capable assistants. They did an extremely professional job. Absolutely no mess and all lines were "fished" through the walls so no wiring is visible except in the attic where it does not matter. John has years of experience in this field and extensive prior experience as a telephone engineer so he really knows what he is doing. I cannot recommend this company highly enough. He spent as much time as I needed to explain the system to me. He will bill me - did not require payment as soon as the job was complete which is nice. Note that Allied Security is not a large company and they do not accept credit cards.
Description of Work: Installation of home security system including 24/7 monitoring. Monitoring is done through Security Central, not Allied, but Allied does the billing ($25 per month). They bill quarterly for convenience. No contract is required for the monitoring service. System involved Vista 20 control panel with back up battery, "English" keypad, 64 zone wireless receiver, 2 four button wireless keyfobs, 1 motion detector (which can be set or bypassed) 4 wireless glass break detectors, 4 window/door wireless transmitters and a very loud outside siren with strobe light. The equipment is Honeywell.
