Easy and fantastic!!! The air got hot as heck in my house when the upstairs system stopped working. They were able to get a tech out same day, which was a huge relief when the temperature spiked here.

Our air quit on us at night and the next morning we found Airflow from Angie's List and called them to see what the problem was. They came right out the same day, fixed it. Thankfully it was just the capacitor and nothing worse. They were very quick and efficient. Will definitely use again. It was $240 for service and repair, very reasonable. Will definitely use again for our needs. Thank you to our service man, Mike Plante for helping us!

Truly excellent. The office staff set the appointment at my convenience . Their tech was on time and quickly identified the trouble and restored my customers service. James the owner is honest, expert, and onsite. All employees are pleasant and professional. Returns calls, answers main number, sticks to the estimate, and communicates well and completely. Prepared a thorough analysis of the home to provide proper sizing of unit. Brought system up to current standards and code. I couldn't be happier with the results. First class job.

. I called and they were able to come the next day so they get an A for responding so quickly. They needed to change the capacitor which did not require very much time and is not a difficult job. They charged me 75.00 for a 25.00 online part and 130.00 for labor! So i am giving them a C rating based on cost. That is all they did not clean the unit or anything else. They did have to drive down the road to get the part but if they had it with them it would have been a 15 minute job.

They knew exactly what they were doing. ? It was like a ten point procedure they went through on the one they serviced. ?And the one that was working, he went down and looked at it, replaced the part, and didn't charge me for doing it. ?I did pay for the part, but that's all he charged. I'm not saying they would do that every time, but another outfit I talked to wanted to charge almost a whole service charge again, just to talk to the other end of the house to check on the other unit. ?They did a good job. They actually got here a day before they said they would.

On extremely short notice, James and his team were onsite and were very efficient in the performance of the work. Even though they had a 20-point inspection and cleaning list to do for a small flat fee, they were meticulous and did not rush anything. In fact, when it came to monitoring refrigerant levels, James took several readings to establish correct information. At all times, James took the time to explain his work and process, answering my many questions politely and professionally. Faced with a possible expensive repair, James did troubleshooting to establish that it was a faulty part. Instead of trying to get me to pay him for the part and repair, he advised me that the part was still under warranty and to contact the people who installed it. That showed me both his character and his skill in his craft. James provided me with advice that saved us money in both short and long term, and i highly recommend him.

Good. Found issue that would have caused trouble later.

I told Mike that I had replaced the thermostat to a programmable one after researching Youtube about a constant on air handler fan. I also told Mike the air handler worked for a couple of weeks but then nothing would happen - no fan, nothing. I was worried that I may have fried something in the process of replacing the thermostat. Mike listened and immediately explained the possible remedies and prices of component replacement, ie. transformer, etc. Mike went to work and looked at the air handler. After a couple of minutes he had the system up and running. Cause of my grief; a blown 5amp fuse. Mike said, since the unit is 16 years old, either I crossed a wire when installing the thermostat or the fuse failed due to age. Mike checked the rest of the system to include the outside unit. Overall, I was very happy with his professionalism and knowledge.

Great, they checked out the system, answered all my questions, and helped me with the maintainence plan.

Called this company this morning, after being ripped off in previous years by a different one, asking to schedule someone to come out and look at my unit. The company got me in today! The technician, Mike, called to say he was on his way, arrived promptly, and got right to work. He was personable and walked my nosey butt through the steps he was doing. He immediately noticed damage to the bypass. It was a cut that was more than likely put there and not fixed by the previous company, he fixed that. Then checked the cool to find it iced over. He deiced that. All the while walking me through the steps and even adding pleasant conversation into the mix. After that he checked the levels and added the refrigerant and made sure everything was in working order. He even cleaned up the areas in which he worked. I will definitely be using them in the future and highly recommend them! He made sure to tell me if within the next few days I notice it is not working right to give them a call and they will come out and make it right.

First off, I found Airflow Masters here, on Angie's List. James, the owner, answered the phone. He sent his HVAC Tech, MIke, out to my house the day after they said they would but it was raining hard the day I called them and this was an outside job, so fine. Reading other reviews on Google that's an amazing response time. Mike found the problem in 5 minutes and made the repair. Had the part on his truck. So easy. My HVAC system is 15 years old and my neighbors have all had to replace their systems by now, so I know a full $5000 replacement is coming and I was dreading this repair because of the potential for bad news. Here's what Mike said, no kidding, "I always check the most inexpensive thing first, and go from there". If you live anywhere near Jacksonville, NC - call these guys first. MIke, the Tech, loves the company he works for. Has a lot of respect for James. And this isn't Mike's first gig. When people like their jobs and the people they work for give them respect and training like James has obviously given Mike, it trickles down to the customers in the form of trustworthy and honest service. Listen, I'm a big fan of Angie's List and think it's important that we give good, accurate reviews. When I do need the $5000 repair, I'm calling Airflow Masters.

I called about 30 heating and cooling guys and few of them would talk to me and never call back with the estimate. Few came in and gave me an estimate and one of them told me that I require a 4 ton. Airflow from Jacksonville came out and measured the house and came up with a 2.5 ton unit requirement just as I calculated and installed it. Pricing was better than anybody else. I would give him something higher than A across all categories.

Mike and Josue were on time, professional, friendly and knowledgeable. I had some questions and concerns (because I did not trust the work of our previous service company). These guys checked over the whole system and answered all my questions. The level of customer service was great and much higher than we have experienced with other companies. We work hard for everything we have and when it comes to spending money on home maintenance, I prefer to spend it on people and companies who are going to care for our home as much as we do.... I finally found that company and couldn't be happier! I can not say enough good things, would 100% recommend them and absolutely will continue to use them in future.

James (The Owner) and Crew, drove up in a Truck with the Name of His company on the side. James and his Assistant were dressed in Shirts that had AirFlow Masters on them and they looked so Professional they could have been working Inside for a Huge Corporation. James and his Assistant were more than thorough. They checked the Cables to the Unit, All Electrical Wires and Components, and charged the system with Refrigerant . They crawled under the home in the crawl space to thoroughly check the drip pans and hoses to the outside and did find an issue they will be coming back to fix in the near future.The issue should have not been an issue , due to the fact that the Interior Unit (Crawlspace) was not replaced like it should have been...when the Exterior Unit was Installed by someone else about nine years earlier. The Unit has not been used much in the summer for most of those years, because I have not been here full time but three of those summers, all the time. James and went the extra mile to find a Drain Hose that was not completely draining to the outside as it should. The Crawl Space is Sandy and "on Short Stilts" for "flood protection" which has Never been an issue where I live in Eastern NC. Nor'Easters and Hurricanes are; with Nor'Easters (Wind) always the main issue. We have Hurricanes All Over North Carolina Now From Charlotte, to Wake County (Fran a Category 4 was especially destructive in the Raleigh area in 1996). Global Warming caused by Environmental Pollution/Destruction, has Stimulated these Worsening Weather Issues through the years as they continue to Expand and not Retract. AirFlow Masters will be coming back to fix this "drain" issue making sure the system is completely draining to the Outside of the Home. I am so impressed with AirFlow Masters because they are absolutely Professional in Every Way, They find problems and tell you the truth about what really needs to be done rather than"Making" a Problem then telling you it needs to be corrected; or "Making Up" a Problem that does not exist. AirFlow Masters in addition to Professionalism in Every Way is Extremely Thorough, (they know their business) Courteous, and they let you know if the problem is one that needs fixing "right away" or one that can wait a couple of weeks or more. Their Estimates are "very close" to if not "right on" what they say the are for the issue or issues they find. I am totally impressed in EVERY way with AirFlow Masters. If you want a HVAC company who KNOWS their Business Inside Out, is Professional, Honest, and Reasonable (HVAC units are never inexpensive but when one is installed it is important that it is fully installed the correct way)....then AirFlow Masters Is your Company. They are "Top Dogs" in HVAC as far as I'm concerned. They are Great for Single Women who are not "HVAC Certified" and will not give you the run-a-round. Their Prices are Fair, they are honest, thorough and dependable--and then some; and as stated earlier they actually "went out of their way" and did "More" than they were supposed to for the price I paid or the price they charged . I'm sure they will not always do this, but I'm also sure they will be Fair In Pricing, Honest and Reliable and I know they know what they are doing. When I have to buy a Unit, I will Call AirFlow Masters.

i had just left town to be with my mother n law who has stage 4 lung cancer, my husband was flying from afghanistan to be with her. i had left my home in the care of my neighbor who was also taking care of my two cats. i got a call on Saturday night from her saying that it was over 90 in my house and the air was not working, i was worried about my cats. i quickly got onto Angies List and looked for an A+ air conditioning repairman, first thing Sunday morning i called Airflow Masters, they were so willing and ready to come and fix the problem. they came and fixed the capacitor on the outside unit and the air began to flow again, i paid over the phone with my credit card and a load was off of my mind. i can not thank them enough for coming out on a sunday to fix my air conditioning, and the price was right too, 90.00. Thank you Airflow Masters for responding in a timely manner and not charging me an arm and leg.

Superb service! I HIGHLY recommend James for quick, effective, cost-effective solutions to problems with your HVAC. I am new to the area and found him originally on Angie's List, along with several other service providers. Of the three local people I spoke to, James was the most personable and professional. He responded promptly to my email, and stayed on top of the call without being pushy or pesky.
