 + -1 moreI called to ask about how to go about getting an estimate. The secretary that answered the phone was snobby and unhelpful. If anyone is attempting to buy a house and needs to get the roof inspected or estimated, don't waste your time because dealing with it is just "too much trouble" according to the secretary.
Description of Work: I needed a roofing estimate performed for a house that I am currently in the process of buying so that I can begin repairs.

 + 1 moreOur home sits on a slope and we were having issues with water collecting on one side of our house. We called AAA to have them come and give us an estimate. When Kenny arrived he was very informative and professional. The job was completed on time and on budget. The gutters have made a huge difference and they look great on our house. I have already recommended AAA to all of my neighbors. Thank you, I will be contacting you for any future needs.

 + 0 moreHe showed up to do the job on time as promised. He stayed in contact with me after the estimate was given to ensure all my needs were met. Once I accepted his estimate the time and date were set and he arrived on time with all required tools and equipment needed to complete the job. He was professional and very courteous to me and my family. The job was completed quicker that estimated and a quality that I require. He even went the extra step to run water in them to show me that they would drain. Would definately recommend AAA Home Improvements to my friends and family.

 + -1 moreAAA was recommended by my neighbor. The job was a great success from start to finish. AAA (Kenny) installed gutters and down spouts on a portion of my house that was creating damage to the foundation of my home. I planned on having them do my entire house in the spring. When they provided the estimate, they saw the foundation damage and suggested that I not wait til spring to do the two sections to prevent further damage. They came out the Saturday after Christmas and took care of it. I will be completing the job in the spring and we are also going to build a deck. I look forward to getting the remaining work done. Great company to do business with. Thank you!

 + -1 moreWe contacted several roofers to repair some storm damage that had caused our roof to leak. AAA was the best one by far! I called Steve and he said he would give my information to one of his guys who did estimates and work. A short while later I got a call from his guy to set up a time for him to come look at it. He was very flexible with my schedule and made it a point to find the most convenient time for me. When he came out, he looked at all the damage and gave me several different options of how I wanted it fixed. When he originally told me the price, I thought it was a little high, but after the work was done, I truly know I got a great deal. I will be contacting them for all my future repairs!
Description of Work: Replace missing shingles, repair three leaks on the roof, seal all possible areas of future leaks.

 + -1 moreI contacted several contrators on Angie's List to obtain estimates to built a wooden deck on our home. I called AAA Home Improvement and the call was answered by a guy who was NOT professional at all. To begin with, he didn't answer the call with his name or the name of the business (possibly forwarded to his personal cell phone). He said he didn't handle estimates, but would pass my information along to the guy that did the estimates. He acted as if he had NO CLUE as to what he was doing. I had to walk him through my name, phone number and what I was needing the estimate for. After 2 days and still no return phone call, I called AAA again. I'll give you two guesses who answered the phone, but you'll only need one. Yep, the same guy answered the second time. We went through the same routine as the first call. I've given up on AAA as it's been over 6 weeks and I still haven't heard from them. I have no idea whether they do good work or not, but I will NEVER contact them again!

 + 0 moreWe had Steve come out to our new house, get a lay of the land and figure out what would be the best way to fence the yard. He came up with a cost efficient and space increasing way that my husband, nor myself would have been able to come up with! The fence looks great and was finished before he said it would be, and we came in under budget! The quality is great, I know it's strong too because our dog who's a monster hasn't been able to do any damage at all! We love having the yard to play in and enjoy with out feeling like all of our neighbors can see us! So, very fortunate and glad to have found Steve and this great company! We will be having him come back to build/install the deck railing soon, without any hesitations. There were no problems with the project and I personally have no problems with the company/staff/crew.
Description of Work: Fencing for our yard at our new house! Estimate for how much safety railing around our new deck/back porch would be.

 + 2 moreAAA Home Improvement was a little higher than other estimates but we chose them because of their responsiveness. They walked us through every detail of the job and explained everything very well. If something changed they informed us immediately. They were right on track with the timing it took to complete the job as well. For any future needs we will definitely be contacting AAA Home Improvement again!
Description of Work: Steve Morse and his crew installed a privacy fence and a 12X20 deck in our back yard. We also had them do some painting on various rooms in our home and repaint our trim on the outside of our home.

The team completed the project on time and within the budgeted estimate. I could not be more pleased and will contract them to replace my wood fencing next year.

Description of Work: I set up an appointment with Steve for an estimate for a roofing repair for 8:30am Wednesday. As I am a Realtor and this is a home I had recently listed for sale, after reading reviews on Angie's List, I called Steve and expected a good experience. I asked him if he were now working in the Beaufort County area since it seemed that his Angie's List location was showing both Wichita, KS and Beaufort, SC. He said he was in the Beaufort area, and could help me. So I was eager to get an estimate from him at our scheduled 8:30am appointment. After not hearing from Steve on Wednesday Morning, I called him at 8:40am. He said he had just run over nails at Lowe's and had 3 flat tires, and that several other trucks had flats too, which had been caused by a supply of nails busting in the drive area. Okay, I thought, now this would be worthy of a news story for the local paper. I asked him which Lowe's, Bluffton or Beaufort? He said "what?" I repeated my question, and he said Bluffton. He said he would call me back in 20 minutes as the guy to repair the flats was there. I didn't hear back so in 30 minutes I called him back and got his answering machine. I left a message for him to call me back with an update. 20 minutes after that I called again and again received the voice mail and left another message. I had been waiting 1 hour now and was beginning to think his story was contrived, so I called Lowe's and they even walked out front to see if anything like that had happened, but there was nothing going on. I then called the Beaufort Lowe's and they also checked and nothing there either. So I felt that I had been lied to, and I was really late for getting to the office. My drive to the office put me passing Lowe's, so I drove there to see if Steve was anywhere to be found. I did not see anyone with any problems fixing tires, and I called Steve again, and before it even rang, he had answered, but it was more like he was just getting ready to use the phone, so I said "Steve." He then told me that he had sent the truck to WalMart to have the 2 tires fixed and that he was waiting for his ride. I asked hi where he was and he said Malphrus Road, so I said I am right on Malphrus Road and would happy to take him where he needed to go and to see the home needing repair. He then said that the guy that could give him a ride back to Besaufort was calling on the other line so he wanted me to hold. I said okay, but was then cut off. I did not hear back from him. I text him and he did reply to that saying he "was sorry that I had to wait." I asked him to call me to reschedule but he never responded again to either calls or texts. I don't know what the story is with this guy, but I suspect he has found a way to write his own reviews on Angie's List. If he can tell such lies as the whopper he told me, then I am NOT the only one he has lied to or been a no show to before. I ended up using Premier Roofing and they came out within one hour and made the repairs the very next day

We chose to contract with them based on the knowledge and professionalism of Steve and his crew. All concerns we had were addressed immediately and to our satisfaction. We are very satisfied with the end result and will be using them again for future jobs.
Description of Work: Removed a chain link fence and installed a privacy fence. Built a 16'X24' deck. Painted exterior of house two tones.
