The installation seemed to have gone well but 4 days later my husband and I took back to back showers and the hot water did not hold the temperature. I called David Medlin and he came back to my house with his assistant and tried to convince me this was normal for a 40 gallon electric tank. I told him it was hard to believe a.new energy efficient water heater would not hold the temperature. He told me to call Rheem because it was under warranty. When I called Rheem they asked me why the plumber was not calling them. They said they would walk him through a diagnostic review. When I call David he refused to come back saying it was a warranty issue, even though he had not even attempted to look at the unit. I told him he was not being very professional and that he needed to provide some customer service or bring me a new unit. He was adamant about not coming back then realized he was wrong and said he would replace 2 parts. I decided I did not want this man back in my home doing work he was reluctant to do. I called Rheem and told them I needed their help. They sent out a local plumber who did a diagnosis with Rheem technicians on the phone. The problem was with the two thermostats. David Medlin had not set the thermostat correctly and according to manufacturer's specification. It was an easy fix. It was set at 90 degrees and should have been 120 degrees. The visit lasted 60 minutes andI now have a fully functional water heater. THANK YOU RHEEM. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND DAVID MEDLIN PLUMBING.

I called because of a water leak. He came out the next day and it was fixed within 30 minutes.

He was able to accomodate a same day installation, was very professional and courteous and did a great job at a very fair rate. I would highly recommend him.

Our power bill the past 2 months was about twice what it normally is and we couldn't figure out why. Then the other day our water bill came in at twice normal. This morning I went out front and noticed the water meter slowly turning but no water was running in the house. I checked the water heater and it was leaking a lot. A friend of my wife recommended David Medlin, so I called him. He gave me a quote over the phone, and was at my house in about an hour and a half. an hour later he was finished and cleaning up. I know from reading reviews of other contractors I would have been charged 5-6 hundred dollars more for the same job. David did a great job, was very personable and upbeat, and very professional. I'm glad I found him and would definitely use him again.

Arrived as scheduled. Dave was very professional and completed the job satisfactorily. It was the end of the day and went longer than anticipated but he stayed until the job was completed. Very happy with the results.

Medlin's Plumbing provides outstanding plumbing installation and repairs services at a reasonable price. I have used Medlin Plumbing for a number of years (for both large and small projects) and have always found their services to be top notch.

While Mr. Medlin was most professional, he did not say anything about the possibility that the water heater my husband wanted may or may not fit in the space allotted in our laundry room. As it turned out, another company was concerned about the size of the water heater and the laundry room space and came out to take a look. The water heater my husvband wanted would not have fit.

Excellent. David answered my call promptly, and we talked about the different options (gas or electric). He gave a great estimate - far lower than other water heater installers I called. When he was just a few minutes late on the scheduled day, he called ahead to warn me, which I really appreciate. He arrived, showed proof of his license, and proof of insurance, and got right to work. He does the work himself (doesn't sub it out) and did a quality job, tested the system, gave me some tips on proper maintenance, and cleaned up after himself very well. Absolutely no complaints.

Reasonable price and I was happy with the service.

Dave was able to work the repairs into his schedule in under 24 hours so that we would be able to close on a sale on time. He took care of making certain all repair requests were satisfied and that all fixtures were working properly. He had an opportunity to replace the water heater but determined that a much simpler repair was all that was needed. I have used David many times in the past and found reliable, honest, courteous, and very reasonable.
